kilroy69 1,251 Posted March 24, 2016 I didn't see much of her until after he dropped out but Candy Carson seems like a very jovial person. That would be interesting in a First Lady. America's most celebrated First Lady was not a looker...Eleanor Roosevelt. We enjoy circling the drain though. When Trump first ran I suspected, with other tinfoil hatters, that he actually wanted to get Hilary elected. Between that late 80's Oprah of him, and other things, I quit thinking that. This makes me wonder again.America's most celebrated first lady was Jackie Kennedy

naomi 356 Posted March 24, 2016 America's most celebrated first lady was Jackie Kennedy Semantics. Most popular because they were seen like celebrities...the Kennedy's of Camelot. Legacy...Eleanor Roosevelt. Winner goes to the one who has a statue in her honor. (Although maybe if we give it 25 year or so...)

naomi 356 Posted March 24, 2016 That's is what the husband of an uggo HAS to say. Most women would rather be the love of a man's life than the lust of his life though. Women seeing Trump's tweet upset to see a woman ridiculed for her looks are going to LOVE that. Plus he complimented Melania to prove the point...I don't even like Cruz but that was perfectly played. This debate is pretty unimportant but I actually wouldn't say Jackie is the most celebrated in the sense of an ideal First Lady. She's iconic, she is no doubt celebrated, but touted for what she did for the role...in my experience it's been Eleanor Roosevelt who gets pointed to. TD Ryan2 316 Posted March 24, 2016 He is almost bulletproof at this point. The only thing that could derail this train is if he is caught dropping an N-bomb on video. and see - he doesn't have that vote anyway. I'd think we could make the argument that offending women is much worse for him, politically, than offending black people.

Mike Honcho 5,287 Posted March 24, 2016 It's a valid concern. One of about 60 I have. And why I cannot in good conscious vote for him, even though I'm a registered republican. Just can't vote for this guy. It's become comical and embarrassing and could be dangerous. I think as valid is that he's a misogynistic ahole, who clearly thinks that half of our country should be judged first and foremost by how they look.

Sho Nuff 720 Posted March 24, 2016 This is all extremely absurd but, didn't this thing start with Cruz using Trump's wife in an ad? Nope. Cruz did not. Now, we can talk about the separation between a PAC doing something (which is what happened) and a candidate. Trump's wife's pictures were public domain...taken on his plane even and used and available to the public. Trump retweeted something himself going after another candidate's wife. But if all it takes for him to do something stupid is have an ad posted like that..whats going to happen when foreign leaders do worse?

TD Ryan2 316 Posted March 24, 2016 the real winners in all of this will be The Geek Club - you know Melania, the middle class, hard working Yugoslavian girl who modeled her way to the top in Italy and Paris has unauthorized nudes out there somewhere... and probably a video. And at this point, it's perfectly in-play for Cruz to tweet that stuff out!

KSB2424 3,148 Posted March 24, 2016 Three separate polls this week all say the same thing. Hillary Clinton would crush Donald Trump in a hypothetical general election match-up, a new national survey found.According to a Bloomberg Politics poll released Wednesday, Clinton leads Trump 54 percent to 36 percent in a contest between the two presidential front-runners. Trump does worse in a head-to-head match-up against Clinton than either of his two rivals still in the GOP race. Clinton takes 51 percent support in a head-to-head match-up with Ted Cruz, who takes 42 percent. Thirty-two percent view Cruz favorably, against 55 percent who view him negatively. Only John Kasich bests Clinton in a hypothetical match-up, with the survey finding the Ohio governor taking 47 percent compared to 43 percent for Clinton. Kasich is the only candidate with a positive favorability rating, holding a 46-32 split Though he mathematically has no shot at winning the GOP nomination outright, John Kasich appears to have the best odds of beating Hillary Clinton in a general election fight, according to three recent polls, including one from Monmouth University released Thursday. When Kasich is matched up against Clinton, 45 percent of registered voters nationwide said they would vote for the Ohio governor, compared to 39 percent for the former secretary of state. Against Clinton, Kasich leads with men, voters between the ages of 18 and 54and white non-Hispanics, while Clinton holds a narrower advantage among women and a wider lead among those who are not white. Both Ted Cruz and Donald Trump trailed Clinton, the front-runner for the Democratic nomination, in their own head-to-head scenarios, by 5 and 10 percentage points, respectively. Kasich also finished ahead of Clinton in hypothetical matchups in recent polls from Quinnipiac and Fox News, by 8 points and 11 points, respectively. It's time the Republican Party figures this out and backs the actual adult running who has any shot to win in November. Keep Donald from getting to 1237, even up the delegates to a manageable discrepancy and then all coalesce around John Kasich. We need more leadership and less shenanigans.
