Is she fat ?

Recommended Posts

Neither one is ideal.

B is obviously way too skinny and her bolt-ons looking focking ridiculous since the rest of her is basically a skeleton.

A would be fun to roll around in the sack with now but she's going to be fat in a few years, probably sooner rather than later.

Right now I would take A in a hearbeat but long term something in between would be perfect.

This chick is a little better in that she doesn't have those ridiculous bolt-ons. But she is still way too skinny, like to an unhealthy eating-disorder extent.

I politely disagree. This chick is 100 times better then his A or B choice. But it's all subjective to one's own taste.

The skinny shick has a hot face at least. So Not fat, awesome. Hot face, great. A little too skinny, i can deal with that. The other chick looks troll like.

I'm not sure your point. On the one hand you are saying that we as a population are getting fatter, but on the other you seem to be arguing that the girl has a genetic body type which predisposes her to fatitude. :dunno:

You guys are saying women like her might not get fat as they age. I'm saying it is highly probable they will, using our population of CBF to illustrate the odds are in my favor.

She is pretty skinny, but unlike girl B with implants, it is hard to know if she has an eating disorder. And her face is the best in the thread.

Don't go with BMI. It's a broken system. According to BMI people like Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson are overweight

Pens thinks all women with hips and > an a cup chest are fat. Consider the source fellas. :dunno:

He is one of the most useless and delusional judges of women I have ever seen on the internet. The guy thinks the delicious and amazing body on the A chick in the A or B post is "gonna get fat no matter what". LOL she has men drooling over her 247 and she wouldnt notice Pen, even as a doctor job, if he was 2 inches from her face. The B chick is disgustingly skinny compared to A.

The chick in Cracks post is fine as hell. A bit too skinny for me but thats preference, she isnt revoltingly skinny at all, just normal skinny.

Dude, for the umpteenth time: attractiveness is subjective. You favor women like you posted, as do many others, but it is clear you err on the heavy side. I like petite athletic women. And some other guys do as well. Is that really offensive?

To me, no, I was probably heavy handed there and apologize. To the women who are blatantly hot but you speculate will just let themselves go and get fat, yes it is offensive. "A" knows she is hot and prob works her ass off to keep fit. The chick in the OP knows she is a fluctuator. In between dealing with the lines of men around the block trying to holler at her, probably puts in some work as well.

It's so frustrating that the medical field can't come to a consensus on anything. Here we have Pen, a Dr, and Djbg13, someone who has been invited to and has lectured on nutrition, and they are at opposite ends of the spectrum on this. It's very frustrating.

And we have a troll who does nothing but take up oxygen that could go to a human who produces actual worth. Go apologize to some trees for taking up the O2 they worked so hard to produce

I'll assume this is sarcasm. BMI isn't perfect, but it is a quick and reliable measure that applies the bulk of the population. And most of the medical literature uses it, though body fat % and distribution are also being utilized.

Apology accepted. I acknowledge the OP woman and A are attractive, but find it hard to ignore their likely fate in CBFdom. Also, we have no idea how hard they work to maintain their figures. I'll argue they'll be more likely to maintain their weight if they aren't busting their asses to keep shapely in their 20's.

How do you know you aren't overweight?

Because i can see myself in the mirror. At 5'6 it says 172 pounds is overweight. I can barely maintain this weight without going up and thats while eating zero fast food, lots of fruit and vegetables, and getting my dietary fat from nuts. Plus i go to the gym 4 times a week. Lift 3 and play racketball for 1. I also have drank twice in about 6ish weeks, about 5 beers each time. No one would look at me and say i am overweight unless they were expecting me to be chiseled with a 6 pack, in which i can see some abdominal definition in the morning when im dehydrated.

I hate to break it to you, but unless you are built like a fireplug, you probably are a bit overweight. For comparison's sake, you outweigh me and I'm ~1/2 foot taller. Doesn't mean you aren't fit, but I doubt your muscle mass is excessive enough to account for your BMI.

Our culture's ideas about what constitutes a "healthy" weight have skewed in recent years, commensurate with the epidemic of obesity. But BMI doesn't lie when it comes to risk of disease: https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/health-topics/topics/obe/risks

BMI system is a broken system. A lot of doctors and nutritionists will agree.

Here is a picture showing 5 lbs of fat and 5 lbs of muscle.

Notice the difference here. You can look great, have abs, have muscles, be perfectly healthy, but still be overweight BMI standards. I wish they would just so away with BMI completely.

Someone like Vin Diesel is considered overweight

Dwayne Johnson is considered obese

Yet these men look great and are in great health. System is broken and people need to stop going by BMI standards

Your link has only one reference to BMI, and it is in regards to stroke:

If the clot is close to your brain, it can block the flow of blood and oxygen to your brain and cause a stroke. The risk of having a stroke rises as BMI increases.

That being said, I would expect some correlation between BMI and obesity-related health problems. But that doesn't mean there can't be different body types like we discussed before.

That's my perfect body type. Thick, chunky, or whatever people wanna call it, is not for me. I wanna count ribs and see hip bones.

There's a huge gray area between emaciated and thick. But to each his own. Attraction is largely subjective and has very little to do with BMI etc.
