GornFishin' 57 Posted October 17, 2016 Week 1-5: at least 4 catches per game, below 60 plus yards only once. Week 6 - meets the most porous defence thus far in Detroit and shreds them for 136 yards and 2 TDs. Is WR #13 over the last month but still owned in only 10% of Yahoo leagues. Quietly on pace for a 1300 yard season and still has the Saints, Giants, crumbling Carolina, Miami and SF defences on the schedule. The sample size is now big enough to take seriously, even with the unreliable Case Keenum slinging the 'skin. 40 targets for 30 receptions. Anyone targeting him this week as a WR3 bye week fill in candidate?
SpenceToons 70 Posted October 17, 2016 I was looking at him very hard Sunday morning but was concerned that whoever I'd put out on the wire in exchange would get scooped up and might come back to bite me in a future encounter. His consistency is very attractive and he might get a few extra targets in the near term until Quick returns to full speed.
rallo 139 Posted October 17, 2016 He is one of those guys who has the intangibles, but in years past he has been mr. Glass... seems like his legs are held together by popsicle sticks and masking tape... that said, is this the year he stays healthy?
JohnD. 22 Posted October 17, 2016 Picked him up last week because he has been putting up solid numbers. Of course I didn't start him over Maclin this week.....
weepaws 3,413 Posted October 17, 2016 Nope. Can't trust him to stay healthy can't trust his Qb to be consistent.
stonewall 647 Posted October 17, 2016 Waiting to see how Enunwa does tonight. If he tanks, then I am putting in a waiver to drop him for Britt as my WR3.

Mark91G 15 Posted October 19, 2016 I took him this week drop Floyd for him, the number he has been putting up with what he has to work with is impressive just the health worry but am happy to play him till that happens
Law 263 Posted October 19, 2016 As the OP stated, the sample size is large enough to abate concerns about consistency. 6 weeks of production is consistent. I too, like many, was concerned about his injury history and his QB, but 6 weeks is 6 weeks. I dropped Enunwa and all of his hype and non-production and a backup IDP who is no longer needed for Britt in 2 leagues and was very happy to get him. If nothing else, he can be a bye/injury fill in. Even if I never use him, it's better to have him on my roster and away from opponents than not.
Eaglessb 12 Posted October 19, 2016 I drop enunwa and my bye week def this week for Britt and Corey Coleman(I'm hoping he'll be back by week 9). I figure I should be able to get production out of one of those two down the stretch.

I figure I should be able to get production out of one of those two down the stretch. Coleman is a good grab. I'm surprised he was available A LOT of guys have him stashed and are hoping for a Gordonesque second half of the season from him. Without the rehab. Britt is at least worth throwing into the mix as to who you start and sit over the next months tough bye period. He has the London game against NYG then a bye then at home versus the regressing Carolina defence. I'll try and keep him until then and reassess.
JediMaster 20 Posted October 19, 2016 I dropped Hogan for Britt. He's been solid all year so why not.
Law 263 Posted October 19, 2016 I like Coleman too, but am concerned with Pryor being there. Only so much to go around.
Joey Gladstone 33 Posted October 20, 2016 Nice deep league add. Has always been a solid WR. He also has probably already had his best game.

American Chewy 98 Posted November 15, 2016 Keenum was pretty bad. I'll chance it for a week unless I can land something better tonight.
jgcrawfish 232 Posted November 15, 2016 I had him at my WR#2 and have been pretty happy with him thus far. I'm waiver wire surfing with Tyrell Williams, Britt and Rishard Matthews after losing Keenan Allen and after Marvin Jones was last spotted on a milk carton. I need Goff to make him better, but don't think it's going to happen. As craptastic as Keenum was/is, I was getting good production out of Britt because of him. vuduchile 1,947 Posted November 16, 2016 I wanted to pick him up to replace Jeffery, by I'm very hesitant with Goff coming in.
wezvidz 2 Posted November 16, 2016 I've held him 6 weeks and played him 1 week with success. Rest were unfortunate benches when my flex was outperformed by him. But with Goff, benching. Gotta see if this guys a choker in the NFL or not before I can trust him. Hoping Goff blows up and is a huge upgrade....
dcgangstas 41 Posted November 16, 2016 From my perspective, Goff can't be any worse than Keenum. Still going with Britt as my #3 WR.
Ray_T 796 Posted November 16, 2016 From my perspective, Goff can't be any worse than Keenum. Still going with Britt as my #3 WR. hehe, I think the risk reward ratio went through the roof. Britt could be a bum this week or he could be a WR1. It really depends on how much Goff targets him.

This. Keenum was awful, but Britt sucked in 109 of his 165 passing yards last game. Who knows if Goff will have eyes for him.

GornFishin' 57 Posted November 17, 2016 Prognosis with Goff under center? Worse, if anything, right? That's a 64 dollar question. Rookie QBs (and backup QBs getting a start for that matter) quite often zero in on one trusted target while they find their feet. It's often a TE or slot receiver. If it's not Britt, that may be a problem. Of course, Goff could be a hot mess and completely implode either way. We will have to tune in to find out. Exciting times. shutdown 40 Posted November 17, 2016 I think he's on the bench for me this week. I have no clue if Goff is really so bad that he couldn't beat out Keenum or if Fisher is a stubborn idiot that resisted starting a rookie QB for no good reason or some combination of the two. That being said I have a hard time thinking Britt is usable this week save for a garbage TD or something. Rookie QB's tend to lock onto checkdown targets (TE's, RB's or Slot WR's). Britt being an outside WR and clearly the Rams best receiving option is going to draw the attention of the defense. I don't think Goff will trust himself to test the coverage on Britt if there's always a safety over top of him. We've seen how badly a top flight WR can be impacted by a QB who won't throw into coverage (see Hopkins / Osweiler) and I have to think that, at least initially, if not always, Goff will be making the easy short throws. 1) That's what fisher prefers, defense and running game and no QB mistakes. 2. He's a rookie and that's what's going to seem open to him.

shutdown 40 Posted November 17, 2016 So you would start Tavon over Britt in PPR? In PPR I think Tavon is safer. Again it's all just a guess without seeing Goff play, but based on what other rookie QB's typically do and all the negative spin on Goff I'd have to say he'd be the one more likely to be targeted. I'd like to think that with 2 months on the bench (presumably with some coaching involved) that he has improved. But there comes a point where you really wont improve much more unless you get to start. Whether the coaching staff here is able to get Goff to where he needs to be remains to be seen. But I'll be watching with interest nonetheless.
BronxNarrowback 7 Posted November 18, 2016 Stuck on whether to play him as my flex or bench him for Crowder….have OBJr and Baldwin as my starting WRs but with change of QB, bit nervous. Britt has been performing very well but don't know how his chemistry is with Goff, time will tell i guess. Would you start him or Crowder? Thoughts?
