I saw an attempt to stop the Elon player from scoring. The last ditch effort was a trip attempt, not a kick. And it isn't allowed, that's why the foul.....It's just not as bad as some, including you, portrayed it to be.

I don't follow hoops at all. Not knowing the backstory it seemed like a last ditch effort that went too far. If he has a history like a player in the NBA has, that would be different.
