Voltaire 5,343 Posted January 24, 2018 It's not that I can't count, it's just that I'm use to drafting with an even number of people. The alternating numbers are supposed to add up to an odd number not even. So, being on my phone without looking, I assumed I was drafting each round alternating in the 8-7-8-7-8-7 position, not the 8-8-8-8-8-8 position each round. Big Guy 1,414 Posted January 24, 2018 Hotel California to start with. Picked way to early. Cats in the Cradle wasn't even Chapin's best song. Sure it was And Harry's "best song"?
ZeroTolerance 584 Posted January 24, 2018 Sure it was And Harry's "best song"? A song that will be drafted later by someone, so let's not name it now.

I mean c'mon Cats In The Cradle in the top 30 of all time 70's? See,that's just my opinion and it's no different than every list out there.
LOD01 198 Posted January 24, 2018 well what the fock its a top 5 pick easily. Something had to be done. Just about everyone's top 5 songs is gonna be different. None of the top 5 picks are in MY top 5 simply because I like other songs more. I'll tell you right now that my top 2 70's songs are in this order. I went Magic Man first even though it's not my #1 of the 70s. I wanted to make sure I got it at risk of GYOW making it to me in the 2nd. 1. Go Your Own Way 2. Running On Empty I can interchange all kinds of others in the next 3 spots.

See,that's just my opinion and it's no different than every list out there. I know a million songs, but yes I've scoured a couple lists for "popular songs of the 70's". My memory isn't what it used to be. This is a tough competitive bunch, I didn't want to miss anything. Great songs are not only based on, sales, but staying power, etc.

Mike Honcho 5,317 Posted January 24, 2018 You guys played American Pie at parties? My best friend was in a frat and at each party, some point they would reach a point of intoxication where it was played and everyone would start singing it(at least the guys who weren't date raping somebody). Song has been rooned for me.
