Pictures of detained kids isn't proof they were separated from their parents. Kids are smuggled in by themselves, with other adults (not their family) or sometimes they are older kids (pre-teen and teenagers) who are just by themselves. It occasionally happened when officers had suspicions that the adults were not truly the parents. But that was the outlier to the rule.

 

There are stats that there was a huge spike in kids separated from their parents after the zero tolerance policy was given.

 

This one is over folks. It was a mistake, Trump should own it, and move on........
