Bert 1,092 Posted September 11, 2018 A former New England coach that totally sucked as a head coach. I feel bad for Pat. This is a Wayne Fontes flash back. Totally destroyed by the.......JETS!

bandrus1 413 Posted September 11, 2018 If you leave the system in NE you suck, and it does not matter who you are What does everyone attribute this too? Â My take on it is NE ability to put the perfect talent into their system and not try to take a team and convert it

Now he sucks. Â I attribute it to having arguably the GOAT at one time...............and now Stafford.

Cruzer 1,992 Posted September 11, 2018 What was Vrabel's excuse this weekend? For 1) I'm not sure losing 27-20 is anything to be ashamed about... and really, both teams had special teams TDs - so his defense held Miami to 20 on the road... And 2) Vrabel has an even shiitier qb than Patricia.

And Patricia kept the OC, so that portion of the team should have been affected less by the change from Caldwell to Matty Patty....aka Peter Principle Patricia. Hardcore troubadour 12,662 Posted September 11, 2018 I don't get it. That New England defense got rolled constantly against good competition under Patricia in big games. The last Super Bowl the latest example.
RLLD 3,455 Posted September 11, 2018 I don't get it. That New England defense got rolled constantly against good competition under Patricia in big games. The last Super Bowl the latest example. Â Also true. But the system in NE hides the faults of players mostly, but also too coaches; as we have seen. It's akin to a team like Navy running the wishbone, you do not need to have top of the line players if you can run that offense, or something like the veer. Bellicheat devised a system that makes average players look like all pro's, and its mostly statistical, pretty ingenious

Can't think of a time Patricia's defense got it done in a big spot. Brady should get many Christmas cards.
Cdub100 3,384 Posted September 11, 2018 I didn't watch the game, but it's funny listening to everyone around me beotch. Â It's the Lions did they expect something different?
Voltaire 4,564 Posted September 24, 2018 Since the Lions have a head coach that can handily beat New England, now all they have to do is make the Super Bowl.
