KSB2424 3,087 Posted October 16, 2018 Bold Predictions.......... 1. Charlotte Hornets are a top 4 seed in the East 2. Coach James Borrego wins COY 3. Warriors do NOT win the NBA title (injuries play a part)
KSB2424 3,087 Posted October 16, 2018 What team does LeBron play for this year? Lakers. Basketball is secondary to him now. He wants to make movies, rub elbows with Hollywood elites and be an icon. Terrible move IMO. Not a fan of the Lakers, I hope it fails miserably.
Cruzer 1,993 Posted October 16, 2018 1. My Mavs wont't contend - but will be fun to watch! 2. LeBron will cause some excitement out West. . . . . . . 3. Ho-hum, wake me up if GS loses a game in the Finals.

Warriors do NOT win the NBA title (injuries play a part) Injuries HAVE to play a plart. They're so ridiculously loaded. You're beating them in a game every now and again. Not happening in a 7-game series.
Reality 2,711 Posted October 16, 2018 Stoked. Excited for the Pacers, they aren't my team but, living in-state I'm glad they are turning things around. Oladipo is a star and it will be fun to watch his growth. Boston is stacked with so much young talent, will be interesting to see how they meld. I think GS still wins the title but, it won't be easy. I don't think the West is any tougher than last year though. The East, Boston and Philly will continue to improve, Boston being a real title contender. Reality 2,711 Posted October 17, 2018 Celtics, seeing them all together.. So deep, they just keep coming off the bench.
fandandy 3,312 Posted October 17, 2018 Pistons. I'm praying the core 3 can stay healthy (for once) and that Stanley Johnson shows some growth in his fourth year and finally away from Van Gundy. I don't expect much from Ellensen, hopefully, he surprises me. Doubtful. Galloway looked good preseason and if he, Kenard, and Bullock can shoot a high percentage from three, which seems to be something Casey really wants to do more of, we might be fun to watch. From what I've seen/read thus far I like Casey and was definitely glad to see Van Gundy go. I expect to make the playoffs in a weak East and if things fall right we might even get past the first round.

Vince44 202 Posted October 17, 2018 Warriors vs Celtics in the Finals. I don't see these two teams being beaten in their conference as long as they don't get killed by injuries. The only team in the entire league that has the talent, depth, youth, and coaching to stop a three-peat. Tatum should have been the rookie of the year in my eyes and picked up valuable playoff experience last spring. Brown and Rozier are very solid players. Kyrie and Hayward are all-stars returning from injuries. The Celtics matchup the best with the Warriors in all the lineups they can roll out. PS: Why is the NBA starting in mid October? Oh well, I am glad that Inside the NBA is back for another year sooner than usual. Ernie, Kenny, Chuck, and Shaq were fun as always last night.

Massive Cs homer here, but I don't see how anyone in the East can give them a run. And this year will be harder for the Warriors...Rockets have enough to beat them, kind of should of last year without the Paul injury. Iggy and Livingston are getting up there..what will Cousins do? I don't think they can do it if they have no bench.
wiffleball 4,682 Posted October 17, 2018 Admittedly, I don't watch much. But from what I've been able to gather. These last several years have basically been about maybe being generous a total of six teams that have a legitimate shot going deep into the postseason. The rest of them basically just sort of go through the motions. Especially early in the season. Would you agree with that for the most part? Also, do you think the sonics have a chance of beating the golden knights this year?

crackattack 513 Posted November 4, 2018 The 3-point line has ruined the game of basketball at all levels... Or, and just thinking out loud here, maybe teams shouod actually defend/run teams off the 3 point line The NBA is about entertainment and scoring. Period. Full stop. They'd need to widen the court to do that. Down in the corners there's hardly any room now. I'd be on board with that

Orlando has two quality bigs. Vucevic and Gordon. Hell, Fournier isn't awful. They need a good coach and better PG. A lot better PG. Orlando is a two man team. As a Pistons fan, I completely hate him but that dude owns Drummond. Yesterday he got like four or five fouls on our bigs in the first quarter alone. He is one hell of a player.
