I saw Diggs gets smoked by old slow AJ Green early in the game.

Terrible CB with good ball skills.

They should spend the 1st drive running hitches, slants, and outs on him.  Then just run nothing but double moves on him the rest of the day.

Hey. Those crappy refs you’re always barking about don’t start sucking when they do a Cowboys game. It’s like complaining about the weather at this point. It rains on everyone.

sure it does

And once again, a cluster of timely bull$hit calls. But it's not just the calls against us, it's the NON calls on them. I'm not sure how many times the Cards were penalized for holding, but I saw holds by them on at least every other play.

https://www.audacy.com/1053thefan/sports/dallas-cowboys/cowboys-point-fingers-at-officiating-in-loss-to-cardinals?fbclid=IwAR0OcQUMXLMLZeREWlaIacsHItHuE7xnis9VuisZW_h4DXGzMg8O2jvixro

The most egregious errors, however, came on two non-calls at the end of the game. With 2:51 left in the fourth quarter, the Cardinals had the ball 1st and 10 on the Dallas' 36-yard line. Officials could have called a delay of game on the Cardinals, but the play was allowed to continue. Arizona running back Chase Edmonds would go on to run for a gain of six yards, but replays appeared to show that Cowboys' defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence knocked the ball out of Edmonds' hands before he was down by contact. The problem? Dallas had just used its final timeout on the previous play and wasn't able to challenge the call.

"It was totally a fumble, and I just don't understand how, with the technology we have nowadays, even if we don’t have timeouts or whatever it may be," linebacker Leighton Vander Esch said after the game. "To me, we’re playing more against the refs than other teams.

So... would you prefer the "correct" call of the fumble, or the "more correct" call of the delay of game?  :dunno:

Wow, I didn't realize how bad it is!  It wasn't just the Cardinals, they play against the refs every week!  It makes sense that the NFL would not want one of the most popular teams in all of sports to be successful.  :(

The Cowboys are a perfect Villain......there are probably more a$$holes that want to see them fail as there are Fans, so yeah, it DOES make sense.

It's official......a Clean Sweep of the East :first:  ( 6 Games = 252 / 107 pts. )

I seriously don't remember them ever doing that before, so even THIS is quite the achievement and satisfying.

Dak - "credit to them, then", when told the fans might have been throwing stuff at the refs instead of the players.  What a complete and pathetic loser! You lost Dak. 23 for 43, for 250 yds. Was that the refs?

I really like Dak, but that was lame.

I don’t like calling a run in that situation. The difference between a 30-yard Hail Mary and a 50-yarder is minimal. You may as well take 2 shots from midfield, or try to pass your way closer and then clock the ball.

If you’re going to call that play though, it’s on Dak to know when he needs to slide and that he needs to immediately hand the ball to the official - not his own center. That’s 100% on him - really terrible situational awareness.

I chuckle at all the Dak love and all the Eli hate.  So obvious why.

Agreed.  They're the same.  One shouldn't be boasted or hated more than the other.

Eli is 8-4 in the playoffs with 2 SB wins.

Dak is 1-3 in the playoffs with 2 loses at home.

If I were a Giants fan I'd love Eli.  He was a large part of them winning two SB's, including beating a team most believed wasn't beatable.  Even non Giants fans should give him respect for doing so.  His career stats may not seem great but he seems to have elevated his game when it mattered.  What has Dak done?

Being from Houston, I never liked the Cowboys, but my dislike greatly deepened my first year in college, where I witnessed the true obnoxiousness and arrogance of Cowboys fans.

They spent days after a win bragging, beating their collective chests and predicting Super Bowl destiny.

They spent days whining like little b!tches over a loss, blaming the refs or calling for firings and benchings.

Nothing has changed, and living close to Dallas, Cowboys fandom and drama reigns supreme in this neck of the woods. Every other Facebook post last night was whining, whining and more whining.

Classless fans at the stadium throwing things.

Enjoy the offseason, whiny beeyatches!

I thought he was joking because he just went on for 60 seconds about how hard the team worked and people shouldn't throw things.  Then someone suggested they were aiming at the refs and he immediately switched his message.

The Giants fans don't love Eli... they just get pissy when he gets disrespected.  I live in NJ.  I lived here during the Eli years.  The majority of Giants fans didn't like Eli, before and after the Super Bowl's.  They didn't start to like him until after he retired and a lot of people were saying that he wasn't that good.

Eli made the playoffs 6 times.  Yes, he won 2 Super Bowls... good for him, in 16 seasons!  Why don't you bring up the fact that he was 0-4 in the other 4 playoff games?  Seems like he failed to elevate his game when mattered 4 times.

Clunker of an effort.  Cowboys should have won easily.  2 defensive holdings on running plays? I don't know if I have ever seen even one before. Very poor.

Because no one wins every game?  This is a really bad post overall.  Most teams would be happy to win a SB every 8 years.  That's a pretty good average.

Ok, got ya.  So you can only bring up the fact that he "elevated his game", when he actually did it... but you can't mention when he didn't.  Makes sense.

Tampa wins one every 17 years.  They’re on a roll.

I don't know why they lost those 4 games, and I don't feel like looking them up.  He may have had something to do with it.  Everyone has a bad day.  But even allowing for all of that he's had at least two really good days when it mattered and, up to now, Dak has had none.

This is just wrong. That’s south Jersey, right? May as well be Philly.

@Strike, I think this post makes my point.  I never once brought up Tampa...  who did?  The guy who got pissy.  I never claimed Tampa was a beacon of winners.  I've always maintained our history.  Thanks to Brady and the Lions, Tampa no longer has the worst winning pct in the league since 1976.

They lost in 2005 when they were actually signing people off the street the week before the playoff game. Lost in 2006 in Philly to a better team. Lost in 2008 after Buress suicided his thigh. Eli did not respond in that game. Won 10 games in 10, didn’t make the playoffs. Lost in 2016 in G Bay, Eli played well, OBJ decided not to catch a few balls in his hands. Rest of team played like garbage.  There you have the story of Eli and his playoff losses.

No it's not.  There's PLENTY of Giants fans down here and I have spent plenty of time in North Jersey and listening to the FAN during Eli's tenure.  At BEST, during his career, 55% of Giants fans liked Eli.

I replied to the following, regarding Dak and Eli:

Which is wrong for the reasons I have posted.  You and HT can have your pissing match without me.
