I think Jones is doing fine with what has been around him.  With the addition of Golladay and Toney along with a supposed healthy Barkley, Jones might have a really strong season.

Same with the Washington.  Fitzpatrick is hot and cold.  He can put up big numbers at times.  They have some real talent to work with on offense to where he won't have to carry them.  The defense is stellar and should enable the team to weather the storm when Fitz has a crappy game.

I expect that division to be a dog fight, minus the Eagles.  How much of a dog fight will depend on... Jones' improvements, Fitzpatrick's volatility, and Dallas' defense.

I think Fitzpatrick is more of a threat than Danny Dimes for a number of reasons. Mostly because at his age and with his journeyman status, he plays with a gunslinger, nothing to lose mentality. He's going to make a lot of mistakes but he's capable of balling out and winning games. Danny Dimes? not so much. Much more on the mistakes side. 

Factor in that WFT defense and that this may be the most weapons he has had on offense and I think Fitz might have a really nice season.

I like Danny. Hoping this third year is when he puts it together. He has been given the weapons, and I think the O line improved as the season went on last year. It was horrid his first year. It’s sink or swim either way.

ESPN was already making excuses for Dak Prescott yesterday.  They were talking about how unfair it is to sign this huge contract but coming off a big injury which could cause him to underperform in 2021-22.  Mmmhmm.....

You may be right, Fitz may be a better option than Danny Dimes - that kid has yet to prove anything. Then again, there's a reason Fitz is on his 4th team in 6 years, a reason during that time he's compiled a 16-25 record - a reason he's always available... DJ does have a couple things going in his favor tho - he has Barkley returning and up front he has a budding offensive line, one built thru recent drafts. With this a make or break season for him, he will be leaving it all out there. 

This "vaunted" WTF defense......is it really? To say they feasted and benefited from playing the shiity NFC East in an understatement. In those 6 games they gave up a mere 15 ppg - and both of Dallas's games were w/out Dak... In a 4 game stretch against real teams, they gave up 30 to ZONA, 34 to CLE, 34 to BALT and 30 to the Rams. All loses btw - which  bring to mind another point. The WTF team that all are so heavily favoring beat all of 1 team with a winning record last year. 

It's possible I guess, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Big Looney fan. He's a great locker room guy, versatile in that he can play Guard and Center, not old by any means for an OL (30). 

2 things you can count on here in Dallas: the offensive line will miss several games to injury, Connor Williams will suck at Guard.

I'm predicting that Dallas ends the year with a Top 10 Defense......these guys are gonna terrorize.

They would never admit it, but there's official reason to be concerned about Dak's shoulder. First we were told it was just "tired arm", now they're on record as muscle strain.. Better keep an eye on this. The season is a month away, and he can't throw for 2 weeks.

I do share your optimism for the defense. I'm not sure they'll be a terror yet, but much improved - and on the way to a bona fide unit.
