ZeroTolerance 582 Posted May 6, 2019 Random baseball things. The Reds homer on three consecutive pitches off of Jeff Samardzija (the 9th home run of the season for all three hitters). They lost the game. Hunter Renfroe hit a walk off pinch-hit grand slam to beat the Dodgers. Harper and Machado are hitting .233 and .236 respectively. Cody Bellinger is still completely ridiculous with a .412/.486/.840 slash, though his home run pace has slowed to a mere 63 (with only 171 RBIs).
Patriotsfatboy1 1,432 Posted May 6, 2019 I think there is concern over Bellinger’s shoulder. It shouldn’t just pop out.
Patriotsfatboy1 1,432 Posted May 6, 2019 The thing I liked was Vlad Jr.’s first RBI knocking in Smoak, whose first RBI 9 years ago was Vlad Sr.

edjr 5,731 Posted May 6, 2019 Red Sox should have given Jackie Bradley Jr at least 5 more years. What a stud. Has there ever been a bigger bunch of nobodies that went apeshit in the playoffs to fool an entire league into thinking they were good?
