Fears of a second civil war grow among democrat & republican pundits

Who would want to be part of the socialist left in this country? I don't. I prefer to not be a part of it but I respect their opinion as long as it doesn't need to apply to me. Others feel the same way. Deal with it that others don't agree with the way you want to live your life and let's separate into different countries. I'll go to the one that uses the US constitution, and you go to the one that wants big government socialism. Easy.

Some of it is too far gone. There is nothing about woke Amerika that I want to do with. I have nothing but contempt. I think they feel the same about us. We can only salvage the parts that aren’t corrupted and let the left have their parts. I would feel so much relief jettisoning the left.

It's sad. This country has fought for many decades to stop looking at race as a determinizing factor in the US for many things. Then enters hussein and works his ass off to separate races and made up sexes. Basically, identity politics.

I'm sick of it too. Beyond sick of it.

hussein is the most disgusting person this country has ever seen because he has negatively affected more lives than any other in the US. Now, his new tradition is being carried on with the lowest of the lows in politics.

This year is not a typical election where you say, ok, wait til next election. This one is groundbreakingly disgusting and has future impacts across the board. The left preached unrest for the last 4 years and are now calling for peace, fock that.

I disagree. I don’t think nearly as many people pay attention, with the exception of presidents, of what most politicians say. Now if you’d have named a left leaning news personality like Maddow, I would agree.

But that's the thing, all of those left leaning talking heads get their talking points from the likes of Pelosi and Schumer. They all repeat the same talking points almost verbatim. It isn't coincidental or organic. They either listen to what the Dem politicians say and regurgitate it or they're given the day's talking points and they go on air and bleat it to the masses.

How is there going to be a civil war when every single state is red other than a few cities in those states?

They didn't just preach unrest. They used their terrorist military wing, ANTIFA and BLM to create that unrest.

Black people and Latinos and most of all Asians have a higher standard of living in the United States than any country in the world. Including countries where those groups are the overwhelming majority. If black lives mattered like they say they do, then the real  cause  would be to get those people in other countries up to at least a decent level of existence instead of the way they live now. But it’s not. It’s just a power grab by the left and a money grab by the race hustlers. Al Sharpton flies on a private jet. The Reverend Al Sharpton mind you.

Then why is Team Trump something like 1-55 in court?

1. Its been impossible to collect everything available.

2. If you can't see that every court wants to punt this like a hot potato, sorry.  Its been bound for SC from the get go. They won't even allow witnesses yet.  This was foreseeable by a mile away

I’d take these claims of fraud more seriously if Trump hadn’t telegraphed his intention to claim fraud months ago and if he didn’t file dozens of baseless lawsuits. His strategy of throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks makes this look even more like a sore loser tantrum.

I’m just wondering why the electoral college would make a civil war any more or less likely. Not that it’s going to happen anyway.

It appears that's what's happening, but its not.  Everyone, courts and attorneys, are going through the motions to get to SC.

That’s why we have a Supreme Court. You can ask them to hear it. It’s a guard against corruption and a political judiciary and unconstitutional rulings. Checks and balances. It’s why we’re so much bette than the rest. Even though one side doesn’t think that and undermines the systems in place what every turn. We’ll see. But I wouldn’t worry too much if I were you. John Roberts is a gutless tool of the establishment.

Its gonna be a sh!t show if SC acts on this.  Could you imagine a state appeals court pulling the trigger on this avalanche?

18 states joining together because they don't like who was voted President, wouldn't that be a 'confederacy' of states.  :shocking:

It is what’s happening though. He cries fraud on Twitter, sues states over procedural issues, encourages electors to reverse the vote in his favor etc.

Everyone sees it for the sore loser tantrum it is.

Because most of the country is on the same page. Just the loonies who live in their concrete jungles who are causing the problems. It's not the south vs the north or east vs west. It's the whole country vs a few cities.

Thanks, I am not worried in the slightest.  All of this just seems to be another rung on the ladder to ultimately reach the goal of Trump's Republicans to claim "illegitimate president" for the next four years.

When SCOTUS denies this one, will it really appease any of you?

Judging from the election results the loonies outnumber the right by 5-6 million.

If they take the case then yes. Besides, Biden is such an idiot he will delegitimize himself. There will be enough material to concentrate on that bringing this up won’t be necessary. Already is. He’s obviously involved in corruption. And it’s ham handed, grab everything you can get your hands on corruption. Obvious and simple. Amateur hour.

So what does this secession look like?  Its not North v South or East v West.  Air travel, no big deal.  Economies?  Ports?  The Red state union just starts from scratch with military, treasury, infrastructure? Or do we keep the Constitution and government and kick out blue states? Or are we just gonna fight over it all?

It would appear to be urban vs rural mostly, with normal people in the suburbs just trying to stay out of it 🤣

OK, gotcha. As a collective, of course you're probably right. But I would be hard pressed to find any one politician that has had more to do with the partisan divide than him.

I think the issue that you're overlooking is the need for someone like him.  He wouldn't have been as popular as he was, for so long, if there wasn't an increasingly amount of need for it.  The Left has always had a strangle hold on tv and print media.  Despite that, Republicans were still winning elections.  Someone like Rush wouldn't have been necessary if the tv and print media prior to him, wasn't so one-sided.  Everything in life is cause and effect.  Rush was the effect, the Left wing media was the cause.  Simply, Rush existed because of what the predecessor did... in the same way, we got Trump because we had Obama.  Cause and effect.

Personally, I always thought Rush was a bit of a douche.

Just throwing this out there.... but wouldn't this make it easier for a civil war?  If the outlying cities are are all red and the big cities are the blue, isn't that an easy enough target?  The red would have the blue surrounded on all sides.  From a tactical perspective, it's the ideal position to have.

Since Dems are in the cities there would be tall buildings.  They would have the upper hand with their higher positions.  Of course, I don't know what they would be using to pick people off with from their higher positions.

I think it would be more of an attack on the government and not the individuals.  That said, a frying pan from 20 stories up is probably more of a weapon than an AR-15.

The red team would probably be on defense.  The way it would have to work is some goofballs decide to secede and they're forced to hold their territory.  Then they'd have to hope that the military refuses to get involved which wouldn't happen.

All the blue team would have to do is say "whatever"
