Sadly, he'll probably be bowing out after Super Tuesday, unless he has some surprising results. A Mayor Pete- Kamala Harris ticket would be fire. For the youngest person by far on the stage, IMO Pete seemed like the adult in the room. Everyone else besides Amy seems like an angry old fart; nothing positive, all negative. Whee#@! Amy is my favorite on policy and experience combination, but alas she shows her nerves on the big stage. No way a woman wins if she looks anything less than 100% confident. Which I guess Warren shows, but see my angry old fart comment.

I kind of like Klobachar but she gets rattled really easily. It's easy to piss her off. Warren is doing Bernie's work now. I'm convinced.
MDC 7,881 Posted February 26, 2020 Mayor Pete has no shot. He’s too green and inexperienced and a DINO, in addition to being gay, which won’t help. Klobachur is running for VP or more likely a cabinet position. Warren probably is too. There may have been a window for her to make a case but she’s tried to be too many things (progressive, moderate, attack dog) to too many people. After Super Tuesday it will be down to Sanders, Biden and Bloomberg and most likely a brokered convention.

TimmySmith 2,783 Posted February 26, 2020 5 of the very top Democrats agree that they hate Bernie. We see that every debate. The most recent national poll (which was 100% people who identify as Democrat or would vote Democrat in a primary) has Bernie and Biden narrowly beating Trump. 65% think Trump will win. Only 54% plan on voting in the primary. Sanders will be the candidate by plurality and will lose the election. There is no inspirational candidate. Hillary 2.0. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OpQxzzYY4MXgQMfo2j_XicB_tEUtt7eI/view

MTSkiBum 1,626 Posted February 29, 2020 I am down to Mayor Pete or Trump. I feel like Mayor Pete is the John Kasich of this election because the people i think would be strong do not stand a chance. Bernie Sanders is the absolute worst candidate in the history of politics. My opinion of him gets lower and lower by the day. I have no idea how anyone on the left supports him.

She is the upper class white elite college educated Socialist candidate in contrast to than the working class Socialists as well as the hair on fire freakshow that both prefer Sanders. Meanwhile she splits the "must have a vagina" crowd with Klobuchar. Really, she wants to be the midpoint bridge between the Sanders people and the somewhat sane establishment leftist crowd to unite both sides together but most Dems aren't interested in the bridge, they want one side or the other. Klobuchar's case was that she was low but outperforming expectations. It was a fair assessment and works when the polls are trending upward. I think the wheels for that have come off with Nevada and South Carolina and she's back down to the bottom. Steyer spent a fortune in SC and only got a distant third and is a few poinnts under the 15% mark statewide but my get some delegates in individual congressional districts. He's not done anything so far but if he was going to make any noise, this is where it would have been.
