Seems like a race at this point, doesn't it?  Trump being secretly rushed to Walter reed Hospital a few months ago and never revealing why coupled with his weight gain and mental decline. Shaky Mitch McConnell. Ginsberg. Pelosi approaching 80.    Wouldn't shock me if none of the four are here when Billie Eilish releases her follow up album.

Worst person on stage was Bloomberg by a mile. Totally unprepared and not fast on his feet. It was a disaster.

Amy Klobachar took a hit too. She needed a strong performance and Mayor Pete destroyed her.  Pete is very intelligent and thinks very quickly.  So he's never rattled. He had Klobachar's voice shaking last night.  She was furious. And then she said 'I wish we could all be perfect like you Pete". I think we've all heard that line before.  But probably not since middle school when someone was losing an argument and had nothing else to say. 

Warren was awesome. Too bad she's far left and is becoming an afterthought to Bernie with the socialist wing of the party.  Part of me would love her to get the nomination just top see her destroy Trump like she did Bloomberg. But it'll never happen.  She's probably out after Super Tuesday.

I just watched some clips and I actually appreciate that Klobuchar didn't have a convincing fall back posture when Pete was relentlessly going after her.

Most candidates get their defensive styles down well and try to be smooth operators, but her getting pissed and not having a go-to mode told me she's not used to that kind of criticism (a spectacle of criticism) and it's beyond her ability to pretend she can shrug it off, because she has tried to do her job right and she thinks she has. Historically there have been some great leaders who sometimes showed their very human side like that.

There's a certain involuntary honesty in it, and that was far better than when involuntarily honest posture heavily suggests the person being called out actually agrees with how they're being called out/knows it's truth. That's how Hilary Clinton came off.

I hear your take. I’m curious what you think about her response to Pete when he was criticizing her policies by asking if he was calling her dumb. It felt to me that she was playing the woman card instead of addressing the legitimate criticism. Trying to get the crowd to rally behind her in PC fashion.

That particular part took me aback a little. It's one thing to be flustered or a little pissed, but it sounded like a split second of her wanting to go off stage and settle a tiff with him. Feelings legitimately hurt. She does need to do a little better than that. And if it was pulling a woman card, that's lame. Slithery. I think my best advice to give her would be to watch a ton of Margaret Thatcher footage and lady up. Don't get actually hurt and definitely don't play identity politics.
