One of the first?  No.  The first people started getting this in the US in February I believe.  This was several weeks later.  I did not have it in January.  I didn't wear a mask because I always thought that it was pointless.  I only got sick once, my family members were sick recently, tested positive.

Why would I lie about this?

We had some family over.  We only wear masks when required, like being out in public, but no we dont wear masks in our own home, unless someone requests, I always ask.  So we had 5 other households over to celebrate the fall birthdays.  Someone was positive.  Of the 18 people, 8 got sick and tested positive, all fine now, everyone relatively young and healthy.  I still wear a mask to make other people feel better.

NJ, NY, very common in Feb and even late Jan. before everyone realized what it was.  My son was in NY during that time and every kid at his school was sick, they assumed it was the flu, but the school behaved very strangely.  They knew something was up in mid Feb.  By the 1st week in March it was game over.

im in nj. i swear my son had it in jan. they tested him negative for flu..said borderline pneumonia but couldn't figure out. was fine in a week or so

All I said was that my family got sick.  They got sick and they were fine, it was no worse than a cold.

My buddys parents got it...mother did fine...dad however got his ass kicked.  Ended up in hospital and now 2 weeks in rehab facility.  Was so weak he couldnt walk.

Wifes aunt died but she was an old fatty with diabetus and heart disease...was just the tipping point.  Young tech guy at my work got it...just out if the hospital after a month.  Kicked his butt...did the ventilator thing and he is still weak as a babe.
