Actually it doesn’t which is why many have disagreed with the CDC regarding things like boosters.  Under about 40 you probably don’t need more than 2.  40-70 probably 3 and 4 or 5 for over 70.

My wife made a medical decision based on her observations, and was fired from the job she worked at for 25 years. (Cornell University)

My entire issue with these injections isn't that they aren't any better than taking Robitussin, it is that people's personal rights to bodily autonomy were stripped away.

If you want the shots, then good for you, but you should have stood up for those of us who don't need or want them.

Well for one I was never in favor of the mandates.   And many of the ones that were put in place were moreso from the employers (especially once the government aspect got shot down in court).

That said, I think almost all adults should have wanted to take the vaccine, so I don’t have much sympathy for those that didn’t. The only argument I could see would be if someone was willing to take 1 shot but didn’t want the second (because 1 shot is still pretty effective especially for younger people).  But that wasn’t the case for 99% of the people refusing the shot.

My decision was based on actual data.  As you admit, your wife’s was based on “observations.”
