Coronavirus - Doomsday

Yes it does, this is proven all over the world.

What do you think drove the wave of excess deaths in fall 2021?  Looking at just Covid deaths will show a similar trend.

again, the most vulnerable died

the rest of us had natural immunity

you dont like stuff from the world

Many people were able to get vaccinated before getting Covid for the first time.

Over half the country is “vulnerable.”

Covid was the leading cause of death among 45-54 year olds in 2021 (underlying cause of death, not just “with”):

So at his deposition the other day, Saint Fauci made the court reporter wear a mask because she had the sniffles, which she told him were due to allergies.  He did not wear a mask, nor did anyone else in the room.   He said "The last thing in the world I want is to get Covid."    What a tool.

I guess he shouldn't have funded the lab that released it then.

Who said there were zero side effects?

The “Died Suddenly” doc has so many lies that even many anti-vaxxers are trying to keep their distance from it

Well with the GC it usually is, so there’s that.

Myocarditis (particularly in young males, particularly after the second dose and particularly with Moderna), is the main downside to the mRNA vaccines which I have discussed repeatedly

Tim Hack's picture of Fauci isn't in his office; it's in his bathroom.  He whacks off to Fauci's picture three times a day.

Link to me saying Fauci was a Demi God?  Oh wait there isn’t one, you’re another GC liar.   I don’t mind Fauci, but I’m certainly not his biggest fan either.

How do you know his performance was pathetic?  Wasn’t it sealed?   All I see are a few “tidbits” being released by the plaintiffs that I’m sure aren’t biased at all.  Speaking of bias, I kid you not, one of the lawyers’ twitter handles is literally “leftylockdowns1.” And this is a tweet from one of the plaintiffs:

Here’s a good piece I’m sure I linked to earlier in this thread showing that he’s wrong and shocker, it was actually driven by Covid.

But I digress.  So what were some of the “tidbits” that were released?  I see a few themes being repeated:

1.  Fauci supposedly said he “didn’t recall” a lot.  Umm, ok. Without more detail on what the questions were or how often he actually said this over the 7 hours, don’t think there’s much we can do with this information to determine whether or not that was a reasonable response.

2. He wanted to follow China’s lead by “locking down,” but apparently didn’t want to use the word lockdown during the deposition (which I don’t see an issue with if you’re comparing to China - we didn’t lock down compared to them).   Umm, ok. Yes, China lied about a lot including the stats, but their lockdowns did technically work in slowing Covid.  With it being a novel virus, I think many people were on board with restrictions at least initially.  Of course that changed as time went on, but the restrictions were also reduced as time went on.  I see some discussion about Fauci dismissing the GBD, but considering that was written in October 2020 it doesn’t seem relevant to the early days of Covid.

3. Fauci “emailed his friend in February 2020 that masks were ineffective.”  This is old news, this came out in June 2021 - https://www.newsweek.com/fauci-said-masks-not-really-effective-keeping-out-virus-email-reveals-1596703

In that very email he even said a few things that don’t really contradict his later positions:

-Masks are more for the infected person (this of course was before we knew the role of presymptomatic transmission and thus the potential benefit for mass mask-wearing)

-Part of the reason he didn’t recommend his friend wearing a mask was because they were going to a low risk area (before we realized the extent of the spread…and in February 2020 what he stated was likely true)

-Masks may help if someone coughs or sneezes on you

I’m sure @jerryskids will chime in about how Fauci lied to prevent people from stockpiling masks, but I was hoping this deposition was going to be about more than masks.  Apparently it wasn’t for AG Schmitt:

Overall, I don’t see any actual evidence of their claim that Fauci conspired to censor speech, in fact Schmitt also tweeted this which appears to be an admission that he doesn’t actually have a link between these two things supposedly happening:

I hope Fauci is investigated for his ties to the Wuhan lab and Ecohealth alliance - I don’t know if he did anything illegal, but I hope we find out all the details.  But this particular suit just looks like a witch hunt that is rehashing old debates.

Republican governors did a much better job handling Covid than liberal ones did. The liberal states were a disaster.

Not if the metric is excess deaths.  HT wrong again.

9 of worst 10 states for 85+

7 of 10 worst states for 75-84

8 of 10 worst states for 65-74

7 of 10 worst states for 45-64

7 of 10 worst states for 25-44

Well that's not the metric.  Remember?  The stated goal was to prevent hospitals from being overwhelmed.

Do you or HT have any state by state data on hospital utilization that proves Republican governors did better at this?

so based on this ages 45-54 91/100000 or 0.00091% mortality rate

now for simplicity lets round that to 100/100000 or 0.001%

we know more people with the vaccine are dying than without

68% of people are vaccinated, although I cant find the actual number for this age group, but for this we will use just that number

58% of people dying are vaccinated according to previously posted article

so out of every 100 deaths 58 are vaccinated while 42 are not (are you following me, is my math correct so far)

again I am not trying to say end all be all, but this is the logic I am following

2/3 of people are vaccinated, 1/3 not (for easy numbers, so 67/33 per 100)

so your odds of dying with the vaccine are 58/100000 or 0.00058% and without are 42/100 or 0.00042% (this is where my math gets fuzzy edit:) I am not clarifying my numbers correctly because I am not sure how to factor in the 2/3 1/3.  obviously what I am stating is that more die without the vaccine than with, however that number itself is insignificantly small and well with in the range of error

therefore taking the vaccine increases your chance of survival insignificantly.  0.00016% increase in survival rate

Do we need it?  People weren't dying in the streets because hospitals were packed with covid patients.  All you really need is a graph showing which economies shrink the most.

new york did such a great job, they refused to use the medical ships cause they wouldn't accept help from OMB.  That itself is a crime, same with LA

Holy fock.  I doubt this guy " Aaron Kheriaty, MD ", whoever the fock that is, is one of the plaintiffs.  Can you support that assertion?  The lawsuit Fauci was deposed in was initiated by the states of Louisiana and Missouri.

Holy crap there’s so much wrong here.

First of all 100 / 100,000 = 0.1% not 0.0001%  (you made this same error later)

The 58% of people dying being vaccinated is in total, not among 45-64 year olds but whatever, let’s go with it (the overwhelming majority of deaths are 70+ who have higher vax rates).  This is how you calculate vaccine effectiveness in this hypothetical:

58/67,000 = 0.0866% death rate among vaxx’ed

42/33,000 = 0.127% death rate among unvaxx’ed

VE = (0.127% - 0.0866%)/0.127% = 32% which is also the percent decrease in death rate, you don’t just subtract it, holy sh1t.  You remind me of “data analyst” Ian Miller, who parlayed his fake mask charts into a book deal and a job as a writer with Outkick.

Please refrain from doing math in any further posts.

nope all I said was this was my thinking, and even after tim fixed it (which I asked for) I still find it insignificant, you're rate of dying with or without the vaccine is relatively minute
