Actually my wife has curly hair, the humidity makes it curlier, not the other way around.  My PSA for the day in case anyone ever dates a Curly.

My gf has really curly hair. If she straightens it she needs to keep it completely away from water. She doesn't even need to wash her hair for days and it still smells good.

Yeah, my wife washed her hair this morning for the first time in a few days, but we have a rain front here this week (yay global raining in Phoenix$#@!), and she was like fock it, it's just going to be a brillo pad of unmanageable curls due to the moisture.  I do my best to care about the subtle nuances of her curls, which I presume you need to do as well, but honestly I think she is lucky to just throw some product in it and be done. 

She used to occasionally straighten it for a different look, but it took her close to an hour and... why bother?

Ive been with more than my share of Asians. None of the chinese chicks shaved or even trim. Full on 70's bush. Never saw one with pin straight hair, but I'd say it isn't as curly as usual. Kind of whispy hair I guess I'd say. 

As for the wife (Filipino) she shaves and plucks that sh!t religiously, so I have no idea what it looks like long thank God.
