I fill up about ever two weeks. If gas goes up $2 a gallon, that's an extra $64, or $4.57 a day.

I'm willing to spend an extra $4.57 a day to not import Russian oil. 

If it affects my budget, I'll just buy less-expensive wine.

They're low quality since they're mixed in with rock such that a method to effectively extract it was only developed like fifteen years ago. That's why for most of lives, the US government had to run around the focking Middle East dealing with those a$$holes for oil. This extraction method discovery was a major game changer for US energy policy, or should have been. It's called "fracking", look it up.

Suddenly, the US could tell all these turdworld oil dictators to go fock themselves. Further the Canadians also have large oil reserves, I have a cousin who works up there in Northern Alberta in the oil fields. The Dems want to stop fracking (not Obama, to his credit) and also not build that pipeline to Canada. This is entirely on Biden*.

HT, preumably, wants a yes and yes to fracking and that Canadian oil pipeline and a yes to all the high quality energy sector jobs that go with it.
