there is a HUGE stigma in the industry against openly talking negative about the economy because if you do, you start to get labeled a kook.  So the pros will say "there is no recession coming buy buy buy" until the stock market crashes.  then they will switch and keep saying "the bottom is in, the worst is over, we are already recovering from the recession buy buy buy"  its always a positive consensus.

EVERYONE anywhere near the industry knows this.

Its quite literally like me getting blasted for raising concerns about major threats.  there are some mind-addled idiots that will start to label you a kook no matter what.

Yup, count me in as one who "turned" in 2012.    I not a big fan of the current version of Romney but he was my governor and he was good at it.    When I saw what they did to him in the 2012 election just so they could get Obama another term - that's when I started to get p!ssed about what the dems were doing.

thats when I turned, I voted for Obama in 08, as he wanted to end the pointless wars in iraq and afghanistan.  and after he lied and escalated the wars, I went into 2012 completely open

I watched what they said about Romney and saw their unbased political hit pieces and how the MSM ran with it

I will never vote for a D again

This is when my parents turned as well; HUGE Dem voters all of my life, loved Obama's first term. From then on, they've turned and registered as R.

I went from Libertarian/Third Party to R after Obama's first term as well.

to be fair, theyve been running hit pieces on republicans and shielding democrats for 70 years.  they shielded FDR.  but they also brainwashed the kids going forward so you cannot even question FDR.  i think what happened is some people just started to notice what was going on after Obama.

If they loved Obama’s first term, why would they vote against him in 2012?

Because he was a disaster in his first term.  As well as the second term.

I agree.  But that’s not what TheNewGirl’s parents thought apparently.

Show me in that post where I expressed any emotion.

Oh, right, you just made up the "happy about this" part.

What's funny is how so many here beat their chests over the midterms and act like it's something new when the party opposite the president's part dominates the midterms.

News flashy flash: It's unusual when it doesn't!

Why don't you just ask what they are?

Come up with a checklist and I'll tell you where I stand on those issues.

read it again.  nowhere did thenewgirl say they voted republican in 2012.  YOU added that they voted against Obama in 2012.  the newgirl said her parents loved Obama's first term.  they turned AFTER Obama's first term.

logically, since Obama's first term didn't end until 2013, they probably voted D in 2012.

people just struggle with reading comprehension.  especially on the left.

the amazing thing is, these liberal clowns have been pretending to be "moderate republicans" on the internet since like the 90s.  and new generations come along and try the exact same tactic like we've never seen it before.  another one that is seen over decades is how they will register an alias, pretend to be a republican at first and then try to slightly sway opinions to the left with the republican alias.  rusty did that one as well.

She was replying in agreement to a post talking about voting Obama in 2008 and Romney in 2012 (I am another in that camp actually).

People just struggle with reading comprehension.  Especially civil and nuclear war predictors.

I celebrate and point out anything negative toward Clownzo and his toadies, who have moved the party in the wrong direction, that being too far right.

I disagree with how some red states are handling abortion, but that doesn't mean I'm totally pro-choice, either.

As I said, if you want to know where I stand on things, come up a a list of issues for me to show you where I stand.

Thanks for underscoring my longstanding point about how far righties view anything to the left of them as liberals.

Look at all these alt-righty death threats on federal officials just because they're doing their jobs in the Clownzo investigations.

This is what so much of what the party has become, a bunch of angry, white, intolerant, middle-aged, Cucker-loving extremists who are willing to go down with the ship for their beloved Clownzo and his toadies such as DeShitis.

But a combination of recent Biden victories, gas prices coming down, inflation slowing and a distain for this far-right mindset is going ensure that hard-headed alt-righties such as you find yourselves isolated and irrelevant.

Hmmm. The actual assassination attempt on a SCOTUS justice get by you? You can pull your one sided BS with the weaklings I’m sure  you are surrounded by, but you could never hang with someone like me. My cross examination would send you home crying to momma. Dismissed.

You remind me of cracking open an egg into a bowl, and a little piece of shell goes in with it, and it's tough to fish out because it moves around.

You're that elusive little shell, tough to pin down on myriad things.

In that quivering Jello you call a brain, you can whitewash an unprecedented number of death threats against FBI because of death threats against Supreme Court justices.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

Death threats against FBI agents are wrong.

Death threats against Supreme Court justices are wrong.

Pointing all this out to you makes me right!

:first:

You have the easiest posts to stop reading after the first sentence.

If's funny how you liberals love giving yourselves trophies for being nut jobs.

Kind of like that Philly mayor who danced when he got sanctuary city status. He'll change his tune though when Texas starts sending busloads of illegals to his city. Just like they are losing their minds in DC and NYC.

It's funny how you alt-right knuckle draggers keep calling me "liberal" and yet won't take my challenge to provide me a list of issues in order to show you where I stand on them.

I could be to the right of Attila the Hun, and you'd still label me as a liberal.

Such idiots.

The fact that Rusty would actually bring up political violence and then pin it on the right is laughable.  Then he backtracks and says both sides are wrong. What a clown. The FBI or any law enforcement getting death threats is nothing new.  Comes with the territory. You only care about who they come from. Spare us your fake outrage and concern.
