I'm a centrist too. I think both sides are awful, trust no politician as far as I can throw them and think Democrats are worse on some things and Republicans are worse on some things.

Well currently I think the whole idea of trying to quiet voices of people they disagree with in places like college and all that is completely idiotic.

I certainly don't think you can just eliminate everything related to oil and coal and all that and pretend like wind and solar covers it all.

I think torture is necessary at times in war and combat.

There are a few. As I said before- I've been on plenty of boards where I've been called a raging conservative. The general populace here is far right it seems and I do not buy the conspiracy theory aspects that people here seem more willing to buy into.

That being said, jobs are a bit more.  They are still going up from Covid recovery, and I suspect a lot of young folks who were voluntarily out of the work force are opting to get back in, given inflation and housing costs.

As I said in another post- the most some economists are saying is that if we are in a recession it is unlike any we've ever experienced.

Even still- the job numbers and stuff (for whatever reason) are signs we are not in a recession yet.
