Because it underscores that this mid-terms red wave isn't quite in the bag.

Cause she was an incumbent senator. Not some tiny district special election in NY

there are people who think republicans support her

It isn't a statewide district. It's a particular swing district among many districts in the state. States are broken up into districts.

Texas is redder than a male-dog cack, but there are lots of blue pockets, like Austin. In other words, blue districts.

This was a bellwether vote, with it swinging the Democrap's way largely because of the SC's abortion decision.

Might check that out before you stick a big knife in your ignorance jar and slather what you dig out on your idiot sammich.

Nom nom nom.

Did you? I thought you got yours from Suckerfish Carlson, Newsmax and OAN.

Looking forward to the deepening positions of isolation and irrelevance that you knuckle-dragging alt-righties are finding yourselves in on a daily basis.

Hahahahaha.

It was a special election. Those don’t follow the standards. So again I’m far more educated on them than most. History favors the the non incumbent party in special elections. Just look at the +18 district in Texas that flipped. Special elections get an extremely low amount of votes comparatively. So only the motivated side votes

in every election cycle, the leftist media will zero in on any democrat winning a special election as tout it as proof of a democrat landslide.  every election cycle.  the MSM is just hoping the average person doesnt notice they are doing this.

Wasn’t really just the MSM. And this is from before the election:

But apparently this person only has the spot for 4 months?

were both wrong lol

New York is tied with California, Maryland, and Massachusetts as the third-most Democratic state in the U.S. with a PVI of D+12. New York has the third-highest number of electoral votes of 29, behind California (55) and Texas (38). New York has voted Democratic since 1988. New York, especially New York City, is known as one of the most progressive states in the nation, with very strict gun laws, a push towards legalizing recreational marijuana, and NYC being one of the nation’s most LGBTQ-friendly cities.

In this case, it doesn't matter what the whole state does. It's all about this one district, which has a history of swinging back and forth. Biden only won it by 1 percentage point in 2020. The Democratic candidate zeroed in on abortion and rode it hard, and this is a big reason why he won.

People countrywide - particularly women - are p!ssed at the Supreme Court decision. Moderate Republitard and centrist women are going to vote
Democrat come November, which reduces the size of this red wave that supposedly is coming.

This district vote serves as a bellwether for November. Obviously, a million other things could happen between now and November, but don't underestimate what the Supreme Court decision ignited.

at the same time, i think a lot of pro-life people would trade the november midterms for getting rid of Roe.  Stopping the murder of innocent babies is a bit more important. all too often, voters feel like they spent a lot of time promoting a candidate and got nothing for it.  Here, pro-lifers got something.

Marc Molinaro was the county executive for my county. He reduced the county property tax eight years in a row. People have moved here by the thousands in the last decade. I bet many of the losers that voted for the soy boy cuck that ran against him don’t know that. Probably because most of them don’t pay property tax. Or any tax.

Nothing to see here.  I'm guessing most of our centrists are in the "it's not happening" phase.
