I got my first dose today.  I'm 45 with older parents and in-laws that we see often.  I am in pretty good shape and no real underlying conditions worth noting but decided to get it anyway as I felt the benefits outweighed any potential risks.

If I was 20 years younger I would not get it yet.  And I will not be giving it to my kids anytime soon.

I am pro-vaccine in general, its one of the greatest medical inventions in human history.  However this one is sorta new so I get some concerns, I have some myself.  Therefore I don't begrudge anyone else for not getting it, their body their choice right?

I can't speak to what misinformation the CCP is spreading outside China or what they think of it all. Inside China, both the CCP and the population take great pride in beating this thing early on and  there's a mocking/gloating in some quarters that other freersocieties can't pulll it off considering howl long and ongoing this is taking elsewhere.  What started out as a PR disaster turned into a PR coup for the CCP domestically. That attitude seeps into the population as well, wondering WTF is taking everyone else so long.
