oh ok, rates per 100k are different in different countries

last I checked India had one of the lowest rates in the beginning as well, and they are one of the most dense places in the world

You can’t really compare cases especially across countries, the reporting is massively different.  Both India and Africa are probably massively under reported. India for deaths too.  I do believe Africa has a lower death rate, but that’s mostly due to the fact that their life expectancy is much lower so most of the people that would have died of Covid are already dead.  I’m sure lower obesity rates and lots of Vitamin D help too.
