Ukraine - Doomsday

It's easier to fix than decades of Yooper inbreeding, resulting in morons who think it's OK for a regime with a long history of tyranny, oppression, human-rights violations, aggression and genocide to attack a democratic country that has some corruption in its past.

That ol' alt-righty two-wrongs-make-a-right mindset, coupled with the usual throwing out the baby with the bath water mentality.

“Some corruption in its past”. Ha ha. 🤡

so then Russia should have fought then to keep it?  I am just looking at this objectively, how was Ukraine able to just bounce

we have it in our constitution that states can secede

It was the Soviet Union and included Russia and Ukraine. Why can't Ukraine overtake Russia for the same reason?  Russia is not the Soviet Union, it was a part of it.

Germany is getting downright frisky over there.

It's good to have seven of the world's top 10 militaries on our side, and they're all right there around Russia.

Good for them.  Their populations will all be paying 3 times the prior cost for natural gas and oil.

I almost always have your back CDub, but not today. I admire Putin's commitment to anti-wokeness and traditional values and gender roles. Also, his assessment of what ails the west is spot on.

Even with those admirable qualities, if you want to make a case for him as a force for good in the world though, it's a tough sell. The guy conducts unprovoked invasions of weak neighboring countries, he orders hits on opponents, he doesn't respect democracy or human rights, he cracks down on disent, spreads propaganda, and the election rigging there makes Stacey Abrams blush. He's a 19th century autocrat in a 21st century world and the good doesn't outweigh the bad. Especially with Ukraine getting invaded by Russia as we are typing, there's not much of a case to be made for Putin. I don't think Putin intends to starve millions of Ukrainians like Stalin did, he probably just wants a pliable neighbor kissing his ass like Belorus, but Ukrainians have long memories of Russian oppression and the right to keep Russia out of their affairs.

It's okay to disagree. I would argue the US does the same thing we hide behind freeing a people or giving democracy to those who have none, but we don't do that. Iraq, Afghanistan are still the same. We install "friendly" dictatorships all over the globe thanks to the CIA. NATO has continued to encroach towards Russia going so far as to support a 2014 coup in Ukraine to install a western friendly leader. You know the Biden crime family has close ties to that coup leadership and has benefited from that relationship (10% to the big guy). The same goes for Romney, Warren, and other long-established politicians.

You don't provide links. You just state things as facts and retreat into your safe-place cocoon of ignorance.

This.  I get that Ukraine is pretty corrupt themselves.  I don’t trust all the so called “News” either.   I get all the virtue signaling from the US left.  I mean how ironic they are cheering for leaving mostly all the MEN to fight.  Or the PEOPLE taking up arms to defend themselves.  Then at home there is no such thing as genders and you shouldn’t have the right to own a gun. Its hilarious when you compare/contrast those idiots.

Life is rarely black and white, but Putin’s actions trump all that; if we’re ranking the bad guys he’s numero uno.

Exactly.  If there is any common ground we have as people that believe in basic human rights, we should all stand up to Putin.

Where were you all year and in previous years when the Ukraine government was arming and directing Nazis to shell and snipe ethnic Russians in the Eastern part of the country?

If you're referring to the War in Donbas, it was not "Nazi's sniping Russians", it was Ukes and Russians engaging in terrorism and skirmishes.  Two sides of the story, man, don't fall victim to propoganda.

They think there are more Nazis in America than Europe. I was in Amsterdam and saw a group of them giving the Hitler salute years ago.

Who's we?  You're just the typical American retard that drinks up western propaganda, then takes to message boreds to repeat and amplify it.

Oh, here's your favorite, Wiki, on the Azov Battalion.  Nice logo they've got there.
