1. Know your enemy. Rush’s core mission was to give his listeners an ideological understanding of our political opponents on the left. The left’s handbook never, ever changes. 

2. Reject the premise. Leftist accusations and attacks are based on unstated premises: You are the problem; conservatives are the problem; America is the problem. 

3. Use your power. The left may appear invincible, but it exerts control based on a currency of deception, manipulation, corrupt bargains. The power we have is unassailable, and it is built on invisible things: Truth. Joy. Common sense. Humor. Love. Gratitude. Faith. These qualities answer to a Higher Authority, and the left has no counter to them. 

4. Have no fear. Leftists are bullies who are terrified of fearless, cheerful people – who know they’re right. Those who, like Rush, truly grasp the pathetic nature of leftism exude confidence, even glee. 

5. Stay on offense. Be relentless. Because it is has no moral foundation, the left’s "power" is ephemeral – when fought, it will deflate like a souffle, and come crashing down like the Berlin Wall. Follow Rush’s model and laugh at them every day.

If you subscribe to the left side of the political menu by and large and always have, I guess it's just not possible to see how Rush was a hero to many that don't. 

The Left basically owns the entertainment industry. They own the news media minus one major outlet. They own corporate America. This allows them to control the narrative on most things. If that's always been there since you've been alive, I guess you just take it for granted. 

Rush inserted himself into that reality and spoke for millions upon millions of people who didn't subscribe to that side of the political menu. His personal life was deeply flawed. His persona was one of brash arrogance and not much compassion. But, in real life, he was decidedly softer. And his message was bold given the tsunami of power that the left has in this country in terms of messaging. 

Some of you guys on the left just can't see the privilege that exists, I guess. I won't mock you for it as I don't mock anyone and I won't question your intelligence because I have no business doing so. But, it does astound that the blinders are on to that extent.

This is, of course, the point being made here.....though you likely ended the fun of it with this post.... 

I don't mind people have stupid thoughts, so long as they do not act on those thoughts and manifest harm on others.....such as the Democrats do.

"Normal" liberals such as Manchin and Sinema (that is those who do not think obviously stupid things) have political positions that I may not agree with, but being normal and reasonable people it is possible to disagree with respect.

Where you have people like AOC and Imar and Pelosi and Schiff (and others) who think in a really hateful way and pursue policies that hurt those least able to absorb that hit, I have a bigger problem with them.

But the liberal mind set is "agree with me or you are evil....."

I've disliked that hot-winded goo bag since the day he went on-air and his popularity exploded. People worshipped him to the point where that myriad restaurants had a "Rush room" for people to gather during lunch and watch him. 

As a journalist at the time, it was sickening to hear the biased vitriol spewing from his blowhole. 

He served as the launching point for the crapass, opinionated infotainment that calls itself "news" these days.
