This is the problem with this discussions.

If you got vaxed, then you believe everyone should get 17 shots and they all work 100%.

If you didn't, then you think covid is fake and the earth is flat and you want my grandma to die.

Reasonable people get trapped in between.

I got vaxxed and I'm an anti vaxxer?  LMAO.  Another definition changed.  It used to be anyone against vaccines, now it's anyone against mandates.

This would explain why his test was negative, but I'm saying he lied about getting the test.  What kind of scared lil gay boy gets vaxed and then gets  an antibody test afterwards.  He is an anti-vaxer and lies about this so he can tell everyone that the vaccine doesn't work.

I got vaxxed in Dec 20/Jan 21.  I got an antibody test last fall to make an informed decision about a booster. So, back to lesson one, just having a vaccine is a sh!tty metric to use for someone to decide what you protection is against Covid is.

Damn, that was when the vaccines were first introduced, you must be old or in bad health to get on the list that fast.

So then you get an antibody test 9 months later, and wahlah, no antibodies, so I assume you took another shot?

I think we've seen antibody numbers drop after that time frame, not a surprise, but again that doesn't mean that if you contracted covid, your immune system wouldn't be better positioned to attack the virus.  Like I said, T-cells, and other mechanisms that support your immune system exist after exposure, not just antibdies.

Yes, Candace Owens is against all vaxxes now. As are a lot of people who up until recently were only focusing on being against the covid vax. That is the point of the thread.

Link?

He doesn't have one.  In fact, the CDC, NIH, and even the FDA have told people specifically to NOT get their antibody levels checked after getting the vaccination.  Their reason was that it varies from person to person on how quickly the levels would show up, they weren't sure when you should get them checked.  Also, they were afraid that people, after being "fully vaccinated" could get covid and those antibodies would be used in fighting covid and your levels would be either low or non-existent when you got them checked.  They feared that the results of the tests would yield a negative result and people wouldn't get the vaccines.

Here's a link from just a couple weeks ago from the FDA telling people to not get checked.

I wonder what % of this country are anti all vaxxes?

If we knew that number, that would most likely end this thread. Cause who cares.

That’s not what the government is saying. They want all kids to get it. Now why would you listen to them about everything else but not that? Seems a bit inconsistent.

I don’t listen to them about everything else.  I haven’t gotten a booster for example.

Well if “they” think all adults need a booster, then I don’t think I agree with “them” about the first 2.

Yes.  Every healthcare worker who got vaxxed back then was morbidly obese with multiple underlying health issues.  How astute of you to pick up on that.

The flu shot is a shot, it tells you right in the name. The Covid vaccine is also a shot just like the flu. They called it a vaccine in order to deceive the public into thinking after 2 shots they were immune. When more boosters came along people started question the vaccine so they changed the meaning of the word.

It is called an influenza vaccine. Says it on all the paperwork you receive and/or sign at that time.

"They changed the definition of vaccine..." might be the dumbest argument against the COVID vaccine among a lot of dumb arguments.

It's really pathetic.

Look, it's perfectly acceptable to be unsure about a new vaccine, nervous about the new tech, not think you need it, not want it, that's fine.

When you hide these fears and instead put up a front of "It's not a real vaccine, they changed the definition, it doesn't work", these are all really stupid statements that have been proven false over and over and over.

I wish people would just be honest, "It's new, I don't want it, leave me alone"

dude...you are using a mighty wide brush here. wtf?

no i was not. i believe it was very real. i had it twice as proof. was i afraid of it for myself or kids? NO. i fought for my 80yo parents to get the vaccine when it came out. they couldn't get it while focking healthy 30-40yo people i knew were. i might have got vaxxed if i didn't get covid march 2021 right before most were starting to get vaxxed. i recovered fine and said well natural immunity should buy me time to see what happens with vaccine at least. then the booster talk started, then everyone i know who was vaxxed started gettting covid and spreading it etc. then the mandates and trying to give to kids... i said wtf??? why on earth would i get a shot at this point??? by that time omicron came around and they started talking 2-3 boosters. and word that original shots were useless. then i got covid again. this time was a mild cold. WHY THE FOCK WOULD I GET VACCINATED NOW????

wife and me and kids all have the normal vaxs you get as kids. this covid vax is the equivalent of the flu shot. that's all it is.

I've had the Covid shot and I don't think it's proper to call it a vaccine.  I got the shingles vaccine a couple years ago.  It's rated to protect you for something like 10-15 years.  That's a vaccine.  A shot that may or may not protect you, and you need an undetermined number of boosters so you can get that maybe protection, isn't a vaccine in my book.

Well unfortunately you don't get to make up the definition of what a vaccine is.  The covid vaccine, the flu vaccine, shingles, they are all by definition vaccines, with varying degrees of efficacy.

It's like I can say the philadelphia eagles are not a football team in my book, because they are a sh!tty organization and they suck and everything.  I know by definition they are still technically a football team.  The covid vaccine might suck, but it's still technically a vaccine.

so it has a 90% efficacy rate which was the previous requirement to be classified as a vaccine?

so they didn't change the definition?

and it doesn't prevent the spread of covid?

nothing I have claimed has been proven false over and over and none of what I said is stupid

but maybe you should ask the ceo of pfizer what his opinion on things are

ROFLMAO.  Yeah, apparently only the CDC gets to change that definition, when they want to call something a vaccine that doesn't meet the definition:

Didn't you claim the vaccine was 0% effective?  That's pretty stupid.

And I'm pretty sure there were was never anything about 90% being the "definition."  I thought the prior definition basically implied 100%, which was why it was changed because there are a lot of other vaccines that aren't 100% either.

yes I claimed it was 0% effective at stopping the spread of covid

there used to be a standard of 90% efficacy to be classified as a vaccine, Rubella was 86%, thats what it was paired with the MM in order to be able to classify it together

and yes once again every other vaccine is 100% effective if your bodies creates the antibodies.  I will never get measles, no matter how many people I am around with measles

the ones who can get measles still which make up the people who are in that 3% are those who's body never created the antibodies

There is no 90% efficacy requirement for a vaccine.  The influenza vaccine is around 50%.
