I'd not read the link the first time I replied. I got lazy. The stories the lady told about her time working at the transgender clinic relate to children that should not have transitioned and the attitudes of the people that work in the clinics. You told us she was full of lies then gave us a link that you said was on topic - but that has nothing to do with it. It's a distraction /invitation to discuss school bathroom and locker policies rather than the children harmed by this clinic in St. Louis.

Perhaps you have a link saying the St. Louis transgender clinic is on the up and up and these children standing in front of you that you refuse to see/acknowledge are not real.

Seems to me the only person in the clinic who actually cared about them was her.

I don’t believe it’s happening. To me that whole article is extremely suspicious, starting with the woman stating she is gay and “to the left of Bernie  Sanders”, but she just has to tell us the terrible things going on in the evil clinic- it’s just like the folks that told conservatives about the terrible things going on at Planned Parenthood- that turned out to be total hoaxes. 
 

I suspect this will turn out to be a hoax as well, but none of you will care because you’re all so invested in this hatred and fear of transgenderism. It’s just pathetic and sad, but I need to remind myself that in the long run it won’t matter.

1. A transgender boy is a boy full stop, A transgender girl is a girl, full stop. 
 

2. Transgenders deserve to be treated with love, dignity and respect. 
 

One cannot believe these principles and also believe that kids are being pressured or tricked into having operations and then regret it later. That’s a fantasy at odds with realty, which is why I don’t believe that woman. And why I posted the ACLU piece.

This de-transitioned lady took the time to make twelve videos, each one dedicated to a chapter of Abigail Shrier's book and discussing her de-transitioning story in relation to the theme of each chapter of the book.

My daughters are 22 and 20. They would argue that they’re “nowhere near teenagers” but I might choose to disagree. One of them has a trans friend but I’ve never met her.

#1: A transgender boy will ALWAYS be a woman - a biological woman.  FULL STOP.  They will NEVER be a boy or a man no matter how many chemicals you want to put in them or how many parts you want to cut off of them.  Ever.

For the sake of argument, let’s say that the number of regrets isn’t less than 1%- let’s say it’s 50%. If half of the people who choose to have a sex change operation come to regret it, should we therefore make it illegal? 
I would argue no. This isn’t a public health issue, like Covid, in which we are sometimes forced to make decisions for the benefit of all. This is a private health decision, between a person and their doctor (and in some cases when a minor is involved, their parents). The government has no role in these matters. Nether do you or I. We need to leave these folks alone.
