its a snowball effect over decades.  democrats run the urban areas for decades and they just keep getting worse.  government keeps getting bigger and solves less problems for decades.  we fight wars and they keep ending up quagmires for decades with elites running off with wheelbarrows of cash for decades.  politicians keep breaking promises for decades.  police are barred from doing their job for decades.  all of these things slowly tear down the credibility of the government.  and everyone keeps dismissing all of it because they think nothing bad will come of it.  

and then one day a president is told there is no rigged election but he refuses to believe it and the PUBLIC sides with the president and then you wonder why THAT is.  because the government has destroyed its credibility SO BADLY over 70 years that people naturally believe the corruption must be true and they dont care what evidence or sterling witness testimony you think youve got to prove otherwise.

all of these events are connected.

its like a dam that starts showing cracks but holds up for 70 years.  gee the cracks must not be a problem at all.  then the dam collapses one day and everyone is shocked.

Trump doesnt have some genius level magical powers making people believe him.  The government has done this to itself by constantly crapping the bed for 70 years.  trump is just taking advantage of it.
