Cdub100 3,850 Posted December 7, 2022 It was trash. When I worked at McDonald's in the 90s I would make a quarter pounder and add lettuce and tomato. It's a simple burger that to this day I don't think McDonald's sells. Unless you asked for it specially made

It’s my favorite McDonald’s burger of all time. I was living in Maryland when it came out and would ride my bike to the one in the shopping center near my house to get me one often. When they discontinued it I felt my world shatter. Wish they’d bring it back. Even for just a limited time

The name is vaguely familiar... maybe... but I was thinking of the one where they put the fixins on one side and the burger on the other. I don't recall eating what they are describing. Then again, I've never liked mayo, and I came to appreciate mustard later in life. Maybe at around 30 I was still too immature for this sophisticated burger. wiffleball 4,788 Posted December 7, 2022 Mcdlt was fantastic. I mean it actually tastes like a hamburger. Which No other McDonald's does. Whenever I order a burger I always request all the vegetables on the side. Cuz who the hell wants hot lettuce? Or a Hot tomato? And there's no point in pickles at all especially hot ones. But if I'm making one at home and can pull a jar of pickles out of the fridge and slice them? Oh yeah. Seriously tasty and a great texture mix. There's so many places out there making decent burgers. Their prices keep going down and McDonald's keeps going up. And especially with all the delivery options and everything else? I just don't understand why anybody would purposely go to McDonald's for anything other than maybe a breakfast sandwich or the French fries.
