Without Kelso, That 70's is nothing

Recommended Posts

Kelso is not only the true MVP of That 70's Show, he is the only reason they ever got a 2nd season.

What happens if they cast someone like Zac Effron?

They get cancelled.

Agree. Was disappointed he made only a very brief appearance in the new Netflix sequel.

Didn't even know that was out yet, is it worth it?

It is terrible. If it had the originals more, it would be ok. Its all about their kids.

I thought it was going to be an entirely new show with an entirely new cast based in the 90s, not the same universe 2x years later. Bad call.

The main character is Eric and Donna's daughter and she is spending the summer with Red and Kitty.

Just as a spinoff discussion, anyone watch "The Ranch?"  It's a netflix sitcom starring Kelso and Hyde, with Fez having a recurring role as well as others from That 70's show.  It's not groundbreaking but I find it enjoyable.  I just started on season 2 out of 4.  They wrote Hyde out after he got blackballed in Hollywood but that was late season 3 or 4 IIRC.

I agree with Boston and great show till they lost Rooster to the Me Too movement, As for the 70's Show I never really got into it.

writing teenagers in a sitcom must be the easiest thing ever.  everyone remembers some strange kids from high school that they could use as a template for a character.  its amazing they can screw it up.

I love redheads. The redhead on that show didn’t do it for me.

Ehhh. Whoever said Red was the mvp got it right. Show wouldn’t have felt right without a number of cast including Fezz and Mila Kunis

why would they have cast Zach Efron as Kelso? Was that in the works? Are they remotely the same age? Kelso was 20 when that 70s show began. No way Efron was more than 12 years old

That's a tough sentence.

Agreed. Every sentence suckfoam writes is tough. To read, to comprehend, to imagine someone being that stupid...

"That show sucked even with him" is hard for you to understand.

I believe it. Get an education little boy. 😆

They are around 10 years apart...  Efron would have been either 11 or 12...  Would have been a completely different story line for sure...

Am the only one who didn't know "FES" stood for foreign exchange student?

And Red is one of my favorites right up there with Becker.

He literally focked around and found out.  I don't feel bad for him.
