Dear lord not again.

Most white people in a powerful position would get roasted for that comment.  Then I think Biden is 80 years old.  The elderly use racially charged terms all the time. But Biden does have a history of racial remarks.

I have a 78 year old grandpa who is losing it a little too and says stupid things.

I’m not a black history expert, but my understanding is him saying “the boy” isn’t really the same as how blacks had been called simply “boy” in the past.

Honestly it might be more racist that the first thing he talks about is saying Moore looks like he’s still good at sports.

And of course not as bad as “if you have a problem figuring out if you’re for me or you’re for Trump, you ain’t black.”

Several places I can dig up to post this but I will just ask it here.

One of my best friend growing up is well traveled.  2 trips with peace corps.  Madagascar and Senegal.  Was thrown in a polish prison once and smacked uo fornconversing with gypsys basically.  Is almost a doctor now. Lean left but not political. 

He says over in Europe...hes been to them all, they are waaaaay more openly racist.  But black white brown whatever, no one cares so it isnt a big deal.  By racist I mean just in talking, they wont watch their tongue or think they are offending anyone.  And no one gets offended.  

Question is anyone else that traveled to Europe and familiar have any experience?

It was a racist comment. And he’s made them before. I don’t believe Biden is a deliberate racist. He’s an old man from an era that was insensitive to black people. And his comments prove the existence of the institutional racism that we still have in our society. Most of that racism, like Biden’s comment, is not deliberate. But it’s present. 
 

Biden should be taken to task and asked to apologize. He probably won’t be because Democrats, like all politicians, tend to be very hypocritical about this stuff.
