Guns: The No. 1 cause of death for U.S. children

Recommended Posts

There's a recent case that I think is still ongoing. Basically, the parents are being held responsible for the actions of the kid who brought a gun and shot up a school.

In this case, it's such an extreme level of negligence and neglect that it stands a good chance of setting a precedent.

Of all the possible so-called solutions out there, this one may be the most viable in terms of something actually happening.

It won't solve anything absolutely. But these cases where a 6-year-old grabs a gun off the nightstand and goes to school got to drive really f****** fast if a few parents end up doing hard time and being civilly liable too.

You've never really known pain until you wind up on the business end of a feather boa.

There was that one time Big Bird gave me a beat down.  Looked like a feather but felt like a stone.

You love yourself? Do you hear voices in your head? You’re sounding EXACTLY like these freaks that shoot up schools. Might need to let the FBI know so you won’t be able to buy a gun

I see you've graduated from Seafoam1 Junior College of Comedy with an associate's degree. Congratulations, WhiskeyGash!

How about if someone murders someone, we impose a penalty of death on that person instead of putting them in jail and supporting them while they are in jail then letting them out.

How about we do the same penalty for attempted murder, and we start saying that felony assault is attempted murder?

Let penalties be tough on people who don't want to play civil.

We don’t need a sociology experiment to know you’re on the spectrum.

I am curious about this "experiment" though. I mean, will there be peer reviewed articles on this shiite? What is the experiment trying to prove or theorize?

I look forward to Rusty's long winded article in the Scientific American. Or maybe it will show up in Field and Stream, who knows.

I don't disagree with him. Medical emergencies should favor the mother over the child.

So abortion isn’t murder before 3 months?

I just threw a number out there but there has to be a point where a baby is a baby, right? What's your opinion?

I agree with what he says.

Let me spell it out for you. If someone says they think a criminal should be punished, I would agree with them.

If I think they should be punished for something else that the person said in the first place, then I think they should be punished for something else not mentioned.

And I am perfectly fine if after 3 months of pregnancy someone kills their kid, they should be killed along with the kid as punishment or simply being fair. You take someone's life without good reason (self defense, etc), you should have the same done to you.

20-24 weeks.  I even made a poll about it

I don’t think the parent should be murdered if they have one after that though obviously

So you can pick arbitrary dates because....? But others can't.

A being is a being no matter its stage of existence.

If it's not a medical emergency then 6 months is a little extreme. At that point you had plenty of time to decide what you need/want to do.

Do you have a Kid? Look at your wife's 6 months ultra sound that's a well developed living human being.

I'm not here to debate you on this, we should let Women ultimately decide, that's just my opinion.

I don't disagree but at the same time do you want Liberals raising babies that they don't want and can't afford?

I’m not telling anyone what to do. I just want them to know what they are doing.  No one on the left ever talks about women that live with regret about their abortion. Many do.

I’d say 20 weeks really.  My opinion is it’s not a “child” until it can survive outside the womb, and so far no baby has survived earlier than 21 weeks.  But I am open to pushing that date forward if technology advances to make it possible.

Dude, a 2 year old can't survive outside of its Mother's womb without it's Mother either. That argument makes zero sense.

It's mind boggling how dumb these people are.

Put a 1 year old out in a field and see if it can take care of itself.

Ohh really??? A 1 day old baby can feed itself and not get eaten by wolves?? 😂. As opposed to a 20 week old.
