The two most ordered beers on tap for the Superbowl were:

1. Michelob Ultra

2. Bud Light

Ultra is the fastest growing beer in the country and Bud Light is coming back. Only brainwashed retards are still holding out.

You drink stuff because it's "fast growing" or "coming back"?

Stuff is considered "fast growing" or "coming back" because a lot of people are drinking it.

No Suprise.  AB Had exclusive beer rights at the Superbowl. Pick your poison.  Ultra or Bud Light were the cheapest.  AB makes Stella and Kona in the USA. So, if you wanted a beer, these were your only options.

What beer was served at the Super Bowl?

The Cost of Beer at Super Bowl LIX
Beer Options: Price
American Draft Beer (Budweiser, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra) $14.00
Premium Draft Beer (Stella Artois) $16.00
Premium Large Can Beer (Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Stella Artois, Kona Big Wave) $16.00

What's funny is that Ultra is a Budweiser beer.  Bud Light seems to be doing just fine.  I still see it everywhere and plenty of people are still drinking it.

Bud light took an incredible beating.  But there were no fires. Unlike when the left “boycotts”.

Still holding out.  It is no sacrifice since I have taste buds.  Of course my boycott had nothing to do with Dylan Mulvaney, it has to do with I do not like rice in my beer.

I don't know who drinks what. Bud light sales on it's own were still down throughout 2024. They have some good sales people and connections to get placed in these events like the superbowl and concerts and others. Where they are the only beer on tap. That's a big portion of sales. This is why you hear a lot about their tap sales. Not AB overall, but bud light itself, sales were still down all last year. A lot of times when people boycott something over a matter of time, they find something else and get used to it. I felt no need to boycott bud light because I don't like it personally. If miller light is out, which it has been in the past, I go Coors light route. Or simply mover over to something like Red Stripe or the likes.

I just look at the shelves at my local liquor store. It's one of those major stores the size of a small target. There is one in each direction from me. Miller light gets stocked full then slowly dwindles away until they restock. I never see a dent in the mass of bud light sitting on the shelves. Doesn't mean they aren't selling any, it's just that I don't see it. And I always go to that section in the stores because for beer, I drink miller light.

They were #1 & #2 across the nation during the SB. All bars and restaurants in America serving beer during the game served more Ultra and Bud Light than anything else.

ETA: Ultra took the top spot on St Patty's Day as well.

AB is looking for Ultra to overtake Modelo. At this rate, it looks like they'll get there.

Could be you get there right after it was merch'd. Or maybe it doesn't sell in your area. Both are possible.  :dunno:

Not a surprise after Bud Light made amends and changed their ways.

When companies make mistakes and correct them no reason to still boycott.

I wouldn't say that issuing a vague apology is making amends exactly:

Anheuser-Busch's CEO, Brendan Whitworth, issued a vaguely apologetic statement, stating they were in the business of bringing people together over a beer.

Actions are better than apologies and speak louder than words.  AB got rid Alissa Heinerscheid and her disastrous campaign with what's his face.

Then went back to their bread and butter.

Last time I went to a game here in the Super Dome was a Saints game. Beers were $9.00 each for a a sixteen ounce plastic bottle. They didn’t sell Miller light. They sold drsft beer. When I was a kid, they only sold draft beer which we named it Dome Foam that were in a thirty ounce cup for two dollars. Good times.

Conservatives - I don't like what this company is doing. I'm not going to spend any more money with them. Also we should give 6 billion to Israel.

Liberals - I don't like this company let's destroy their products and burn their buildings down. Also we should give 6 billion to Israel.

Liberals are a violent breed 🌈

They're wired for hate and violence against others. That's just who they are.

Looks like she's got a gap of about year in her work history.

I feel like she's missing some important points and maybe revising history from her AB InBev job description:

Quote

First woman selected to lead the largest beer brand in the world. I ran Bud Light, a multi-billion dollar business with a 9 figure media budget and a team of 75 people. I conceived of and executed the strategy to redefine our brand positioning, hone creative decisions around media, content, PR, partnerships and build system belief through sales incentives, go-to-market strategy and regional sell-in. When I took over the brand, Bud Light was voted the #1 presentation at SAMCOM, a four thousand person annual sales conference, for the first time in 7 years. Under my leadership, we flipped the slope on the brand's trajectory - Bud Light had the best share trends in Q1 '23 of the past 5 years.
