Actually they are not.   Trump is against the corporate-government establishment, while Biden is a puppet of it.  Trump's biggest problem in his first term is he really did not understand how big the swamp was and ended up enabling and growing the swamp.  Now seeing how the establishment worked against Trump for eight years, I hope he is clued in and can actually do some serious draining.   Of course Trump will end up dead before he can, because that is how the establishment works.   If you think that is far-fetched, you really don't understand how ruthless the bastards are who are pulling the strings in this country are.

Absolutely correct, and an extremely important distinction.  Thanks for pointing that out.  I was talking about their leadership qualities only, which in my opinion are disqualifying for the role of President.

Both of them speak about the opposition with a level of disdain and hatred that this country has never seen before, and that includes the Civil War. Lincoln went out of his way to talk about slavery being the evil - not his fellow countrymen being the evil.  One of those  can be resolved.  The other one can’t.

This is true. But there is a significant difference: almost all liberals and independents still watch the mainstream media. They are getting their news from the same sources. Some of these, like Operation Paperclip, are true enough, though way overstated. Some of them, like Operation Mockingbird, are pretty much bullsh!t. The CIA did some awful things but they were mostly incompetent (like trying to kill Fidel Castro with exploding cigars, the Bay of Pigs, the loss of the Shah of Iran, etc, etc,) The overall conjecture you place on them from your conspiracy sources is a false one. I’m dead serious. I was aware of the Hunter laptop at the time. I was aware that some news outlets chose not to emphasize the story because certain aspects claimed by the Trump campaign and Rudy G were not credible. But they did report on it. I wasn’t aware at the time that Russia might be connected though it wouldn’t shock me, Russia absolutely wanted Trump to win in 2016 and 2020, conspired (rather ineptly) to make that happen, and none of that is a hoax.
