Florida passes 6 week abortion ban.

Recommended Posts

I’m personally pro life, however I think we live in a Country that is divided on the subject and realize not everyone thinks as I do.  From a lawful (not personal) POV, if I was King for a day I have abortion laws as follows:

1.  Abortion legal up to 12 weeks (First Trimester).  As the 90’s Democrat used to say.  Abortion should be safe, timely and rare.  More than enough time to make a decision. Also takes care of any rape or incest victims.

2.  With that said I would defund Planned Parenthood.  They are a non profit and should exist on their own accord without taxpayer money.  All the Hollywood elite are more than welcome to give to them.

3.  Minors are required parental notification.

4.  To my Pro Life people?  Fight and push for adoption causes and other initiatives. Change hearts and minds so people make the better “choice”.

This is the weirdest anti choice talking point. Abortion after birth literally makes no sense.

That was a tame post by HT standards.

Statistically, from what I have heard lately, a % of those aborted would have been born in the wrong body.  By aborting them we are denying them their right to puberty blockers and a sex change in just a few short years.

I could get on board with this. 👍

I've often said- 20 weeks is fair. That is halfway through a pregnancy.

6 weeks is ridiculous. There are many women who just naturally or through medical conditions (PCOS, etc) have irregular period cycles and could sometimes go 8-12 weeks between periods. Under this Florida law they would be required to carry the child. That's absurd

Then by your logic it would be best for sluts to test often.

Imagine that in 2023 we are being led down this shithole because some women haven’t figured out how to not get pregnant. It’s pretty Fockin simple.

The Republican Party continues to self-implode. Do you guys want to lose all national elections, period? I’m not even sure you’ll keep Florida after this.

They would rather save lives than win office. And you think that is a bad thing.

Embryos may feel pain during an abortion. This can't be allowed, for chickens...

Is it an “embryo” even after it’s hatched?

Even the most clueless consumer likely suspects that all is not well on the big factory farms that raise animals for food, but let me share the details of one practice with which you might be unfamiliar: Every hour, across the world, around 742,000 freshly hatched male chicks are born. A few hours later, they’re tossed into a grinder, which kills them instantly, or gassed with carbon dioxide, which knocks them unconscious before killing them. (Rarer methods include burningelectrocutionsuffocation, and drowning).

This is how evil these focks are.

Yes, the “Pro-life” propaganda artists are evil. Nice to put a lie accompanied by a picture of a premature baby. Sadly, a lot of people believe the lies. But that number is shrinking every day, as we saw even “red” states like Kansas had voters tell the pro-lifers to F off.

There is no need to have a law making it illegal to kill a baby… since that’s already illegal. It was put into prior anti-abortion legislation precisely so they could print nonsense like this when the stupid law was repealed.

It's a quote from Happy Gilmore.

They added an amendment to their state constitution saying that ‘competent adults can make their own healthcare decisions’ in response to Obamas Affordable Healthcare and now they want to make the decision for women on abortion.  Seemed like an, oh crap, moment in my opinion.

I got the Happy Gilmore reference, and I agree with you.

Nebraska just passed a bill to make abortion illegal beyond 12 weeks.  It also makes it illegal to operate on 19 year olds and under regarding sex reassignment/change.

Planned Parenthood already has a strategy and marketing to let women know they can get them an abortion in another state after 12 weeks.

Good. Nice to know my money is going to good use.

But it’s terrible that anyone should have to go to a different state to do this.

If you think you’re pregnant after 4 weeks you should go find out if you are. They have tests for that.  Incredibly accurate.
