Really??? News to me. 

I've lived there, I'm there several weeks out of the year, I have family, friends and business associates there, it's beautiful and the offshore fishing is amazing. 

I'd move back there in a heartbeat

I thought it was ok. A little bland - was in Jacksonville, Orlando, and a weird place called Celebration. Did enjoy Miami on the beach and drove out into the Keys about 10 years ago which was very cool and unique.

Forgot I also went to Tallahassee just before Covid hit. I thought that was a decent little college town. Drove out along the panhandle and while I’d never want to live there thought it was interesting.

Yeah I hate that place. Don't forget the zombies, the worst of all kinds of rednecks, the snakes oh my god, the snakes. And alligators and crocodiles or whatever. And I lived in houston, but the humidity? Good god! Not to mention old cranky New Yorkers and the Annoying Cubans.  Apparently, they have Cuban goat people. I don't know what that is, but I've heard about them ever since I was a little kid. Freaks me out whatever they are.

We actually started looking for our retirement house on Ana Maria Island….cant wait. Rather die than live in the Villages. Florida is nice as long as you know what you’re getting into with crocs, snakes, florida natives…you know…the worst things.

Mother in law lives in the villages . Beautiful place, been going there a few times a year since she moved in 2018
