It’s $0.00 because after she undocked it, it was shoved back into the dock and wasn’t out long enough to be charged.  You do know tha many people don’t know how long they will keep the bike and are fully charged at the end, right?  Do to think the kids undocked it, and a pregnant nurse just walks up and tries to take it?  Where’s the kids receipt?  It’s should be easy to produce documentation that he rented it.

Before you provide the list, first consider if they were merely unpleasant things that happened and if they may have occurred because the other people involved disliked you personally rather than disliking you racially.

On the plus side, most of these institutions are just doing it for PR. They are only too eager to demonstrate racist intolerance toward white people.

This makes them easy to find, and since their goal is the opposite of diversity, you can more readily avoid them.

Keep your kids, and yourself, away from entities that espouse hate and intolerance.

I want to be fair about this. It's entirely possible that your three interactions were racist. And it's entirely possible that you, or others, are subjected to daily or very frequent racism and/or bigotry. 

But the context is often complicated. Most people will treat most other adults better or worse based on their perceived social status. Drive a nice car, wear nice clothes, have a nice handbag or watch, have nice shoes, live in a good neighborhood, have a nice house that's furnished well, have indicators of status like being able to go on nice vacations, have social/leisure activities that are seen as showing status ( the kind of gym, the kind of hobby, etc, etc) 

If we are talking about black women in general, then many are very poor. Or can't accommodate the above list in their lifestyle. Could it be racism? Or could it be "classism" in the worst sense? 

Also most people will treat others better or worse based on their perceived level of attractiveness. Young Tyra Banks was going to get treated better than many white people back in the day. The more you are seen as attractive against a social baseline, the more people will guard their actual intentions and keep up the "social mask" that often means you will be treated differently ( not better, because it's not authentic, but differently as in without much of the aggression, rudeness and indifference most people receive)  I want to balance this out by saying I recognize that what are seen as "Classical" black attributes are not in line with the typical "Western archetype" of what is seen as beautiful in women. 

And finally, if we are talking not just minorities, but women, then there is the factor of age. Young women are treated differently because society in general treats very young people differently. But also many people are physically attracted to younger people, so that helps some. Also very old women are treated with a certain detachment, if only because a "grandmother" status confers a type of regard in our society. Or did once. But middle aged women, it's probably much rougher. 

Another factor, which compresses against many minority women, but specifically if we are talking about black women in America, is the issue of weight. Very heavy people, of any race, are just treated worse. Lots of adults are obese across the spectrum and many African American women are obese. 

So, to be fair, as a hypothetical, a poor uneducated overweight middle aged woman, who may not have the core genetics above baseline attractiveness, has a lot working against her.  And yes, even before the issue of skin color comes into play. 

If a woman is seen as young, cute to hot, thin, has a good personality, seems not too aggressive or high maintenance with core genetics that fit the Western archetype, then she'll have an advantage. 

I'm not assessing you specifically against this pure checklist. But if you looked like young Tyra Banks, then you would be treated a certain way versus not. The farther you are from that ceiling line, the more problems you'll have with society in general in how you are treated. 

If you are a black woman or an Indian woman, it's just not easy for them. It's really not. But there are many other factors in play in being treated like crap other than just racism. But it could very well be racism. Here's the problem you will have though. Since the current culture is attuned to bringing race into every subject and every platform ( not your fault obviously), then many people will just be desensitized to the term and what it really means. If everything is called racist, then it loses it's overall impact when it does happen. 

You are right, no one knows what it's like to be you. But something Jordan Peterson said once, and it's very powerful  - "Get your own house in order before you try to save the entire world" 

If you want to be treated "differently", then maximize the issues I'm discussing above, in so much as is possible. Put yourself in the best position to not be discarded or treated poorly for the non racial factors first. And that's all you can really control. 

I can only speak for myself, but once I came to terms with the reality that no one in the entire world really cared about my problems, it was liberating. They don't hate me as much as it's just all about them. If the Titanic was sinking, would you give me your seat on a lifeboat? You see, in that context, it's unpleasant, but there's a way to compartmentalize it so it's not so punitive to you because it's not really personal. You can control your reactions, no more, no less. If racism does happen, they only win if they gained the power over you to live rent free inside your head. 

Will this give you some solace. I doubt it in some ways. But once you realize you don't really care about most other people's problems as well, it all becomes part of a game that you don't have to let bother you as much with time. 

Sometimes you don't get a proportional response. Sometimes what I've described is all there is, it's all anyone gets.
