Zero chance you know anyone that I described.  And if you do happen to know "lots" and none are liberal?  Well boyo that just don't make mathematical sense.  I actually do know LOTS, and while they are bigly liberal I wouldn't say ALL of them are.

Freaking SMH...SAD

My sister and her husband both doctors. Through them I have met other young doctors at parties and gatherings.

2 of my college roommates have law degrees.  I know a few CPAs I went to college with, but I don`t know any VPs of finance. At least not yet.

So the people who surround yourself with share the same political ideology as you.  Amazing!

Well that settles it, there are no liberal doctors, lawyers or VPs of finance.  Also why VP of finance?  How did that become a prestigious title?

I am not hard right at all.  I just am nowhere near hard left.

Not sure what everyone's ideology is. From hearing conversations most would have right leanings, that does not mean hard right.

People can vote left yet not agree with the whole agenda.  People can vote right yet not agree with the whole agenda. That is what has been lost in this country.

You people.  People like me with two college degrees, a masters, and a law degree?  People who actively opposed Donald Trump and Joe Biden both?  People who volunteer their time and charitably share their money.

BTW not long ago your assertion that the lifetime earnings difference for high school and college grads was indeed correct.  My understanding is that current metrics have the gap closing rapidly.  Apparently six years of loans to expensive schools to get useless 4 year liberal arts degrees to become a barrista is not a more sound life model than going to a trade school, accumulating almost no debt, and going into a high paying trade.  Have you priced your plummer, electrician, or appliance repairman lately?

LOL at the conservative talking point about some gender study grad working at Starbucks.  Can't take you seriously with that kind of alt right talking point.

And yes, college grads on average make hundreds of thousands more than non-college grads over their lifetime, even with the SCARY school loans to  pay.

You come off pretty bad.

This thought that wearing a dress shirt and working in an office is something that makes you superior to other people is misplaced.

We get it.  You have a degree and work in an office.  A ton of people here do.  That's why we can sit here all day posting.

Same could be said for educated men who aren't liberal.  Although with education there's facts and statistics to back up the fact that the less educated you are the more conservative you are.  Conservative "men's" obsession about being "alpha" and their inherent insecurity tells us all we need to know about conservative "men", most of whom are closet homos.

Based on this board, I don't think you can say that.  In my 43 years of life, to say "Educated liberal" is to show an example of an oxymoron.

I, for one, am happy to see that our board communists are using the word "educated" when referring to themselves and not the word "intelligent".  It's a step in the right direction.

Uh boyo, the majority of scientist, rocket scientist, doctors, etc are liberal.  Hence the massive liberal advantage in education.

Why don't conservatives simply embrace the folks they attract?  High school grads, christians, and old people.

Each group slowly dying in this country.

When I was in school there were Marxists and feminists in their own worthless fake majors on the sidelines getting ignored. I don't recall the alphabet people terribly much all but I presume they were likely around too. Somehow they crept out of Gender Studies and seeped their way into all the real fields and took over.

Huh, I always thought so.  Director not really, but there ain't tons of VPs out there in the grand scheme of things.

It's looking more and more like "The Plan" is now coming to fruition.  Democrats NEED "victims", so when there is an dearth of victims, they need to create them.  In comes all the college degree programs that have no future, such as Gender Studies, African American history degree programs, and nonsense like that.  Worthless programs to indoctrinate the ::wink:: ::wink:: "educated" ::wink:: ::wink:: people and create victims because they have degrees with tons of debt, but no employment opportunities.  Well, here comes the Democrat party to the rescue!!!  D.E.I.!!!   Identity politics!  Now, all these losers (sorry, "educated people"), have a career path and it's to promote communism under the guise of "social acceptance".

meh, at a financial house, everyone is a VP.  You don't need years of schooling or practice to be a VP of finance, don't need to pass any entrance exams.

It really varies for every niche.

New data show that, in certain medical fields, large majorities of physicians tend to share the political leanings of their colleagues, and a study suggests ideology could affect some treatment recommendations. In surgery, anesthesiology and urology, for example, around two-thirds of doctors who have registered a political affiliation are Republicans. In infectious disease medicine, psychiatry and pediatrics, more than two-thirds are Democrats.

The conclusions are drawn from data compiled by researchers at Yale. They joined two large public data sets, one listing every doctor in the United States and another containing the party registration of every voter in 29 states.

I came here to say the same thing.  "Education" in this regard is meaningless.  It just means you had the money and the patience to go to college.

The distinction between educated and intelligent is commonly misunderstood. Liberals tend to be less intelligent while over-paying for education.

Uh, thats really REALLY bad reasoning.

The left keeps pushing for big government.  The right keeps pushing for small government.  Except once big government gets established, it is permanent.  So if "reasonable" voters sometimes elect small government types, and other times elect big government types, they really are voting in huge massive big government, just at a slower pace.  choices are REAL.  case in point, the left was a department of education and the right does not.  so the left just bides their time until "reasonable" voters just happen to elect a large leftist majority.  then BOOM they create it and now it is permanent and cant be erased.  then they fill it with leftists and start corrupting the entire education system to push the liberal agenda and shame the right.

so if you are voting that way, you are really just voting for a communist dictatorship.

its really gamesmanship, a chess game.  the left has found a way to hack the system and convert moderate voters into radical leftist voters without them realizing it.

or to sum up:  if you are hard right, you are for small government,  if you are moderate or hard left, you are hard left.  this is because you can never get rid of big government programs and they slowly overwhelm everything.  every time moderates push in a bunch of leftists, you get focked a little more.

There is an old saying that states knowledge(education) is understanding that a tomatoe is a fruit, wisdom(intelligence) is understanding that you should not put it in your fruit salad.

Its a statement that succintly sums up the issue with liberals, they know plenty, but really dont understand enough.  Their playing fantasy as they do, as other religions tend to do, but pretending its fact....and then going after people who do not submit to their religion is problematic.

As an engineer, I would say that the majority of engineers are Lefties.  Moreso scientists.  Most engineers/scientists are somewhere on the autism scale and more than anything else want somebody else to deal with all of the management/administration/governance, so that they can focus on techie things.  They align with Plato's idea of ruling by the intellectual elites, or "philosopher kings."

Quote
  • To deal with the problem of justice, Plato considers the ideal polis, a collective unit of self-government, and the relationship between the structure of the Republic and the attainment of justice. Plato argues that philosopher kings should be the rulers, as all philosophers aim to discover the ideal polis.

I also know a lot of folks from elite universities, and they fancy themselves the philosopher kings, and that they know better.  In other words, whether you are right or left, they think you are an idiot.

Not exactly.  There are plenty of wealthy folks who went the route of tradesman and are multi-millionaires.

That is the beauty of this nation, you can do what ever you want and find success. Nothing is stopping anyone from finding success. If you are a dirtbag, however, your prospects are diminished.

Greatest nation on earth, that is why people flock here.

Of course there are.  The vast vast majority just stay tradies and eek out a living.

College is a much much surer road to success than stopping at graduating high school.

It's much more reasonable to laugh at homos with gay porn bookmarks.
