So his alleged crime was in 2016.  He met with the DOJ and FBI in 2019 to provide the Biden info but he was arrested in 2023 for his 2016 crime AFTER the new DOJ saw the info he provided in 2019?  Totally above board here.

The story already doesn't add up to me.  How was he arrested and charged with a US crime in February when it's already been reported that the DOJ hasn't had contact with the whistleblower since 2019?  I know his arrest happened in Cyprus, but that clearly had to be reported to the US since they charged him at that time.

He’s accused of 8 counts, which can be broken down to 3 basic things he allegedly did:

1. Working to install a CCP operative in the Trump administration (Individual 1 in the indictment).

2. Brokering arms deals between China and Libya, UAE, Qatar, and Kenya.

3. Brokering oil deals between Iran and other countries, to avoid US sanctions on Iran.

He skipped bail after being arrested.

So even if you think he’s innocent of all the charges... he’s guilty of skipping bail and is officially a fugitive. My guess is he will never again enter a country with an extradition treaty with the US. Since he’s best buds with China and Iran, he can hang out with them.

I found some more information about this guy. DOJ recently unsealed his indictment. He was indicted in November 2022, BEFORE the GOP started publicly talking about him as a whistleblower. And part of the indictment was for lying during the 2019 Brussels meeting he talks about.

So there goes the idea that he was persecuted for being a whistleblower, unless the DOJ has a Time Machine. It also blasts the idea that he told the truth during the 2019 Brussels meeting.

So in 2019 Luft provided information on the Bidens taking bribes from China on the FD-1032 forms.  He also told the FBI he had no dealings between China/Iran in that meeting.  The FBI/DOJ charged him with lying about China/Iran, but did not investigate his Biden/China claims?  

Prior to this meeting Luft was considered a well vetted confidential human source, meaning the DOJ reviewed his history and deemed his information trustworthy.  So Something changed after that meeting and the majority of his charges are from things that happened while he was a vetted source.  

2022 was when he was charged.   So yes, this can still easily be a retaliation for the whistleblowing.  The Biden China deal was documented in 2019, it only became public recently. 

Luft might be a shitty dude. I don't know.  But this FARA stuff and move to discredit him comes off flat to me.  Bottom line is they want to call him a Chinese agent and then dismiss what he says about Biden and China.  That isn't a reasonable take. 

A review of Hunter's laptop shows he violated FARA as well and using the same standard could be referred to as a Chinese spy just as easily.

If we look at the Biden corruption scheme, we are not going to find "good people".   By way of example.....we are not going to find any bank transactions between the Biden family and the UK..... no, that is not how a criminal scheme works.  It works when you deal with criminals.  Which is why these bank transactions take us to corrupt regimes.
