Yeah, my initial reaction was it was a bad shoot. But that is me watching the video on my phone in my living room. 

If I'm on the ground in that scenario, being chased and assaulted by a group of angry people and I manage to gain a little distance from them, I'm probably going to pull my pistol at that point too.
