Anoint him?  No.  I'm just saying he's not the reason the Bear's have been trash.  He's shown that he get the job done.  If he were on a team like the Packers, Patriots or 49ers he'd be a top 5 QB.

So it is the coaching....the same coaching he had last 2 games?

I have agreed that Fields isn't THE problem.  Hiring a colts DC was questionable.  Their roster isn't good.  Defense isn't good.  Never said it was all because of him.

No he wouldn't.   You are on crack.  Just a couple weeks ago you were saying how Fields was regressing and not showing it.  You seem to flip flip from performance to performance.

He is a dangerous fella because his legs can stress a defense and create 1 on 1s.  But I maintain he isn't a good passer.  It was just DJ Moore running last night.   He completed it to a total of 3 guys.  Throwing 50%.  Yeah he played much better than he has but let's put the numbers in perspective.   It was a step in the right direction for sure.

He doesn't "anoint" him but says he would be a top 5 QB in many other situations.   I never understand his position.  On one hand he almost sounds like he thinks Fields is really good.  Other times he sounds like he's just not the problem.  Can't get a read on what he actually feels.

I just think that he's worth building a team around.  You can think whatever you want about him.

Agree to disagree.  Hopefully they offer him a decent contract and he signs.

Hopefully they get the defense back to what it use to be.

Fields looked good last night and there’s some reason to hope. But really, the issue was the commanders didn’t respect the bears passing game at all. Nearly all of those DJ Moore big plays were because some dumbass was trying to jump the route, leaving Moore basically all alone, with no safety help or anything over top. Clearly the commanders were pushing the limits on what they could get away with in pass d and it backfired

Excellent analysis. The fact that they didn’t adjust when it was clear that connection was hot is ridiculous.

He's not playing Sunday. Denver ate his large salary this year. Niners paying vet min for him. Odd, he must be shot. We'll see I suppose

last night was only the 4th Bears win over the Redskins/football team/commies in their last 18 meetings, dating back to 1989.

No Brian Branch either. You wonder if they'd play if it were an opponent other than Carolina.

Big game today.... Do I think Dallas can beat SF, absolutely - there's a lot of talent on this team.

That being said, do I think we will? No, not today. I've tried to find a place were my Cowboys are better than SF, can't find one. We have a spot or two where we maybe an equal, but not anywhere Dallas is superior..... I think SF runs it right at Micah, we'll see that and probably several counter runs called - I expect SF to bust a few big plays on the ground........ Then of course there's Deebo - the dude always eats us up.

Our OL is still a huge problem and I think Dak is going to be pressured all day....................... Give me SF, 30-20.

I have no rooting interest in this game. But I gotta say, I think SF kicks their ass. They have proven more this year so far.

That being said, I thought Buffalo was going to beat up Jacksonville today. :dunno:

Lions are focking battered. I was expecting them to be getting guys back, which they are, but they're also losing guys that were on the field at the end of last week's game. I wonder if this is being treated as a rest week considering the opponent.

I do believe this Dallas team is talented and good...........but I've said before - until this Dallas team actually beats that SF team, I have to pick SF.

Dallas may have the overall better D but SF has the better OL and weapons. The Niners biggest  advantage is coaching and I’d trust Purdy more than Dak in a playoff situation.

Carolina offense has looked pretty decent. Fortunately, their defense sucks and Detroit is missing some of their top offensive players. Drops stop Detroit, not Carolina.

Ravens up 10, 8 late 4th qrt…3rd and goal. They throw a corner fade route to a 5’9” wr, where the defender is 5” taller, gets picked and Pitt scores and wins… SMH, dumbassses deserved to lose.

Chandler Zavala or the Carolina O-Line had a serious looking injury earlier, they took a long break to cart him off, seems he's alert and has movement in all extremities at the hospital.

Bryce Young looks like he may turn into a fine QB, given time.

Giants season over, Dimes career over with neck injury.  Caleb Williams time.

Good thing I'm a Chargers fan.

Also Niners gonna whip the cowgirls tonight.

I remember the slim fast commercials back in the day. They were showing all the guys that lost a bunch of weight. Then they got to John Kruk, and he didn’t lose as much as the others, and he goes “My wife says  I’m not as disgusting as I used to be”.   That was the giants today. Another year where they didn’t make it to Halloween, never mind thanksgiving. 2 winning seasons in 12 years. I always hear the old timers talk about the bad old days. Well, I know how they feel. We are Cleveland / Detroit. It is what it is.

I don’t really have anything against Giants fans. About half my friends are for the G-Men.
But good lord. Two super bowls in the last what, 15 years? How many teams can claim that? And there are comparisons to the Browns and Lions 😂

Its like crying Yankee fans.

What a drive, Purdy is that dude

Gotta love it. I wouldn’t say I have an NFC team but hard not to cheer for San Fran with Purdy, CMC, Juszczyk, Deebo is fun, Shanahan may be the best coach in the league.

This guy. Oh man, I gotta deal with another one? You move out of your studio apartment yet? Probably not. The interest rates will probably keep you huffing up the stairs and ordering in for a while. How about a woman? You get one yet? Please update. It’s been a while.

Ooo is this what I was supposed to expect when I was told to “buckle up buttercup” and then you predictably went silent like the puss you are. 😂

You’re so off base with your assumptions there I’m just going to let it be and buckle a little tighter for this bumpy ride 😆
