thegeneral 3,214 Posted December 13, 2023 When a huge chunk of potential clients are fatties that’s the free market at work A Golden Coral buffet sponsorship can’t be far behind.
DonS 3,292 Posted December 13, 2023 What happens when a flight is completely full and the CBF didn't buy extra (refundable) seats?
avoiding injuries 1,580 Posted December 13, 2023 Southwest is my primary airline, especially with a large hub at my local airport, but they’re making some questionable decisions lately. For instance, the criteria for boarding early due to an injury, illness or anything else is non-existent. I had a co-worker tell the gate agent his knee was bothering him and he was able to board before the A group, people who paid extra to board early. Also, weight seems like an excuse to board early too. And not only does the affected flyer board early, but their entire party boards with them. It’s been disappointing to watch over the years
IGotWorms 4,058 Posted December 13, 2023 Southwest wants to be an airline of the people. Which is admirable. Problem is, the people are gross and always try to take advantage

seafoam1 3,025 Posted December 13, 2023 Let them have a whole row. I see it as a service so I don't have to sit next to one of them who are all squeezed into the middle seat squishing.me up against the window while I'm trying not to touch their green cheese filled rolls.
TBayXXXVII 2,546 Posted December 13, 2023 This should be music to the ears of the other airlines. Chubbers will start using Southwest, meaning thinner customers for the other airlines.
Mike Honcho 5,281 Posted December 13, 2023 Quote The airline says this policy has been in place for decades. Does this qualify as a moon landing?
Tree of Knowledge 1,859 Posted December 13, 2023 I may have to buy a James Harden fat suit for my next fly to prevent any annoying nudniks from sitting near me.

BunnysBastatrds 2,442 Posted December 14, 2023 This has been going on for years with SWA. I’ve seen my three hundred lbs friend and his fat arse wife get bumped up to first class numerous times while not paying for it. Sad.
