Hopefully the homes where all of our California Geeks live stays dry, safe and undamaged. For the state, hopefully the damage comes in under estimated projections for people, buildings and nature. I bust on California but I don't wish it or anyone there any harm.

That river thingy is supposed to come here and rain on our golf tournament.   

I was planning to go on Friday with my son, but decided to hold off on buying a ticket until we see the weather.  Friday looks dry but we'll see.

I live in Glendale/Pasadena area and have had about 6 inches of rain in the last 15 hours and it isn't letting up.

Even the stoplights can't cope with the rain here in L.A.

The wind yesterday/last night was really bad, so keeping an eye on a few fence posts in our yard.

Its not all that fresh after percolating through salienated fields, running across roadways saturated in spilled petroleym products and through feces infested streets.

It can't be helped in L.A. the storm drainage system is set up that way to go straight to the ocean. Otherwise there would be huge flooding problems.
