Man, at some point this gets tiring.  As a Biden hater, i hope Trump says "fock it" and steps aside. Just trot out anyone to beat the imbecile-in-chief and push the country forward.

Seriously, i dont care if its nikki haley, focking Desantis, Vivek, whoever....at this point the Trump circus, politically motivated as it is, is just muddying up the ability to vote this piece of shiot out of office.

He can’t pardon himself. Biden can’t pardon him either. Only the Governor of New York.

It's a state crime so I don't believe he can.

But the statute of limitations ran out on the state misdemeanor. So they resurrected them as federal felonies, no?

This whole dog and pony show has been a clusterfock from the beginning. I can't keep up with all the shenanigans.

There's no way Biden is on the ticket in November.

Over a democrat? You bet. The Democratic Party in this country is the embodiment of evil.

And yet, the head of the OTHER party is the one that can't stop committing crimes.

This is why many in the non-MAGA contingent think MAGA is a bunch of hayseed morons.

The evidence is in your face, but you're too busy watching Fox news to realize it.

Well Doze, I'm trying parse this.  What should I be ashamed of?

How did I minimize Trump's crimes in this case?

How did what I describe above cause "damage to our American discourse"?

Just admit it, you are saying the quiet part out loud.  Trump was the mean OMB, and he needed to be stopped at all costs.  Own it, be a proud Machiavellian.

Machiavelli’s people actually did fear him.

You think I fear Trump? Fok him LOL! Trump is a loser and now a convicted felon with much more to come.

I fear people like you who should know better. You could influence the super dumbass crowd in your ranks.

I fear group idiocy and the gullible minions those groups produce.

Nope. He can still be elected and pardon himself.

National trend has been to restore voting rights to felons.  Use to be they lost them.  Now the majority of states allow them to retain that right and thjose which don't generally only rescind that right during incarceration and any term of parole.  My state, Colorado, has restored their voting rights.

Everybody said this was the least likely conviction of the 4 indictments.

It may have been the weakest case, but given the venue I had assumed this verdict all along.  I would assume if Biden were tried in Walker Co. Alabama for a murder that happened before he could walk he would also be found guilty.  I'm a little cynical.

You ARE cynical. And I think it’s pretty insulting to the jurors and the entire judicial system.

As it should be. Once you've paid your debt to society you should be released with rights intact, imo.

You recently denied that you were a MAGAturd and then go and use that tired old acronym TDS, which only MAGAturds lamely use as a way of explaining away why so many people in this country can't stand Clownzo.

Then they whine, cry and complain all day about Biden and deny they suffer from BDS.

Thanks for proving me right!

Lol dude.  New York dragged out an 8 yr old misdemeanor and added a federal crime (that the feds didn't prosecute) to turn it into a felony.  To the Republican presidential nominee.

This is what I've been saying all along. He's a one-man chit circus wherever he goes, and we don't need four more years of that in the White House.

The hours of clips where Donald talked about Hillary being under indictment, Hillary being guilty of crimes, etc made her unelectable seem pretty useful.

In the 1960's yours was a very minority opinion.  Now it is the dominant opinion and is gaining steam and any state laws holding otherwise are, in my opinion, likely to be found unconstitutional if challenged.

So they reclassified his "crimes" from misdemeanors to felonies to get around the statute of limitations?

One of several reversible errors in my opinion.  By the time that discussion is had with an appellate court the election is likely to be long over.

Well, you don't really think this is the end of it do you?  I think that as soon as the right can, they are going to use the judicial process in a heavily red area to go after their political opponents.  It's not an if, only a when.  Statistics told me that from the jury pool they had what would happen.  And it's not a left only viewpoint.  As I stated, it can be duplicated in a hard right area.  We are as polarized as we've ever been, certainly in my lifetime anyway, and I know plenty of people who would have made up their minds going in just to "get the other side".

It depends on the crime, IMO.

For example: most people know that I am in favor of amnesty for undocumented immigrants and a path to citizenship rights on most counts. But my exception is the right to vote. If you committed the crime of coming to this country without papers you should NEVER have the right to vote so long as you live. No exceptions.
