It sounds to me like they asked different questions through this technique, including wishing if he was hit.  Here is what I think happened:

- 30% of Democrats wish he was hit.

- Other questions were asked to identify political affiliation, like "white republicans are racist," which are attributable to hard-left opinions [my guess here].

- Math ensues, and he comes up with his number of hard-lefties who wanted him hit.

Thank you.  I see there is also Rasmussen poll which asked if people thought “America would be better off” if Trump was assassinated.  That is not the same as wishing him dead, but I see some folks like Tulsi claiming it is.

Long term this is much worst for Democrats.  Kamala is about toast in this election, so if the black vote becomes more of a populist anti-elitist voting block that spells doom for the big government authoritarians who you love so much.  A huge portion of the vote which Democrats always had in their back pocket will be gone.   

Latest polling from Gallop and Quinnipiac are going the wrong direction fast for Kamala.  Quinnipiac is trying to get their polling more respectable we approach 30-day mark and now show Trump up nationally.  They were horrible in 2020.   Gallop is showing Trump with a 2-point advantage on approval ratings.

Trump is up 2 points nationally and has 268 EVs in the bag and has about 312 EVs leaning his way.  Kamala is hanging on by a thread.
