As for those who accuse the show of being too political or being "too woke," Kripke makes it clear that they have no intentions on holding back – but he does have a suggestion for those folks. "I clearly have a perspective, and I'm not shy about putting that perspective in the show. Anyone who wants to call the show 'woke' or whatever, that's OK. Go watch something else. But I'm certainly not going to pull any punches or apologize for what we're doing," Kripke explained. 

 

The question I have for those of us who want to watch something else. What is there to watch that hasn't been taken over by box-checking, pandering waving, woke garbage?

Same, but I watched the first two seasons. Early in season 2 there was bit with a whale and the Aquaman dude that was one of the funniest godamn things I've ever seen.

Yeah, it's clear you can tell what side of the aisle Kripke is on.  He's not even hiding it.  He could have at least been even-handed about it but nope, can't do that.  Quite brazen to build up all this goodwill over the previous 3 seasons and then think that gives you cart blanche to push your agenda, as if that is what your audience was asking for.

Finished the first 3 episodes and debating if I should continue to watch.  There will be one more season after this one.
