Death pool update: Donald Sutherland

I really like him. Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Ordinary People, and MASH are great flicks. His cameo in JFK was maybe the best part of one of my favorite movies. RIP.

He was in some good stuff.  Will always remember the final scene of Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

He was great in JFK. His delivery of those lines had you believing every word of it in that moment.

A rare agreement between us. Like appreciation for how underrated Concrete Blonde is as a band. Salut!

He sounded more interesting in that role then the real Fletcher Proudy.

RIP to a legend, albeit a slightly creepy one at times. He was in a lot of good stuff.

Couple of great World War II spy flicks not mentioned yet:

The Eagle Has Landed: as an IRA guy working with the Nazis who is sent to England to assassinate Churchill.

Eye of the Needle: A Nazi spy who uncovers the truth about the Normandy landings and is trying to get back to Germany.

I thought his role was condensed from two real life figures, one of which was Prouty. Can't remember the details or who the other party was.

He should have did more TV and was great in 24.

I know you like trivia, so here's one for you:

Did you know that the actor that played the character played by Donald Sutherland in "24" was the real-life father of the actor that played the role of Jack Bauer?

He was good. I thought it was funny that the headlines read, Hunger Games actor. Of all the films to cite.

Thanks I spelled his last name wrong, think it was more so based on Prouty.
