Biden is no longer fit to be president. Last night’s debate exposed the lies we’ve been told.

I would be fine with someone other than Trump, just so long as that person implements similar policy....I do not give a rats as about the person, I want good policy

Alright enough with the sh1t.  I never said Biden didn't decline, he obviously did prior to last night.  Trump has too and last night didn't dispel any of it.  Shut your mouth.

You did just yesterday. And not only that, you did such a great job that you totally convinced me.

I place more blame on the DNC. They have better options, but are too arrogant, stupid, or chickenshit to explore them. They are worse than the RNC at this point.

Maybe not shocking to you, but many Geeks will enthusiastically cast a vote for one of these 2 in November.

If only another candidate offered tax cuts and deregulation.

How odd that you think presidential policy is limited to two simple concepts.....

Yeah. Biden and Trump are exactly the same on the border, wars, trade, abortion and taxes. Hard to find daylight.

So today, and the last four years, Kamala is fit to take the reins. Now she isn’t.  Lol.

This can't be a thing, can it?  I don't think it should be.  What if any presidential candidate got sick to the point where they couldn't run (or worse), on say August 1st.  What logical reason would there be to not just replace a name on a ballot with a viable option?  Technically, Harris is already on the ballot as the VP, what reason could there be to not all her to be on the ballot as the President?

The Democrats really didn’t have an option to vote for somebody else. RFK had to go independent.

That's because a lot of geeks, just as many in our country, continue to live under the delusion that we have a true democracy.

I saw some people mention voting for Gary Johnson... I mean, you went out of your way to crumple up your ballot and throw it in the trash. If it makes you feel good or special to say "oh no, I didn't vote for the dem or rep clowns!, I voted for Gary Johnson!"... then good on ya? Chances are your vote didn't matter anyway so do what makes you happy.

The only way we change the direction of this country is if a viable third party emerges.  So, when the two from the major parties aren't worthy of being President, I vote third party.  In 2016 that was the case IMO.  I'm glad I was wrong about Trump and over four years his POLICIES I thought were good.  He actually followed through on his campaign promises unlike Joe and Obummer.  So I'm ok with giving Trump another chance but will not hesitate to vote third party in the future.  Just because the person you vote for doesnt win doesn't mean you wasted a vote.

Got to start somewhere. Voting for people like Biden/Trump sends the message that even the worst major party candidates are OK. Voting 3rd party at least sends the message that you went to the polls but found the 2 choices unacceptable.

Plus as noted by @jerryskids I get to gloat about not wasting my vote on Biden or Trump.

I hate to be a pessimist but history says this will never happen. There can be and arguably have been viable third party candidates and they simply have no realistic chance to win in a country that is so rooted in a 2 party system.

In 2016 I did not vote... because my vote in NJ doesn't matter. The state was going Hillary who I would never vote for. In the back of my mind I was hoping Trump would win, if for no other reason than to deviate from the typical, career politicians we'd been used to. I hoped he wouldn't be quite so brash and quite so blowhard... but like you I agreed with a majority of his policies. Those who want to say he benefitted from a booming economy are likely those who would claim Obama created that (when in reality Obama came into office at the perfect time for things to take off as the height of the financial crisis was around september 2008)

Well, in the sense that in most states your vote doesn't matter, then I guess you didn't waste it on Biden or Trump. You instead wasted it on a 3rd party candidate so you could reserve the right to play that card when it suits you ... ie. when Biden is no longer defensible .

It's hard to believe that voting 3rd party sends any message. No one cares what message MDC is sending (or any specific voter)... it would take enough people to push a 3rd party candidate to legitimately serious contention late in a presidential race for any message to be impactful.

Do we see that happening? If something like the geek club is a microcosm of society, people would rather spend all their free time bickering about the standard party candidates and then just casually mention 3rd party late in the game.

It may never happen.  About a decade ago I resigned myself to the fact that we are focked as a country.  I got 25 years left on this planet give or take.  I'll do what's best for me to enjoy that time.  I'll stick to my ideals re: voting.  It may not change anything but it won't hurt.  I feel bad for those of you with kids, as you approach your end while realizing how focked the next generations are.

Also, I bet Kennedy can suck the chrome off of a trailer hitch

Agree.  I think there area zealots all over, both sides of the isle and in between.... people have bought into horrible ideas....but believe them to such an extent that when someone challenges them on it, their response is hate..... its pretty sad

You’re right, the major parties don’t care. I can send a message but it isn’t received. Either way, I don’t vote for shiit candidates because I don’t want shiit candidates. Give me a candidate worth voting for and I’ll vote for him or her. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Maybe Biden will start reverse aging and so, in five or ten years be mentally and physically capable of being a plagarizing Senator from Delaware. The thought, howev er, that he is a qualified candidate for Presdient is absurd.  Frankly his inner circle should all be prosecuted for treason for thier ongoing conspiracy to violate the 25th amendment.  Many took oaths to protect adn defend the Constitution yet they conpire daily to hide his infirmitiy.  Just who is our Presideint now, in actuality?  Clearly there has been a silent coup, real insurrection.

So the same people that thought shutting down economy for two years over the flu was a good idea and were surprised it turned out to be a dumb idea now are surprised Biden doesn't have the cognitive abilities to be president.

Same people

1. Allowing teenagers to transition genders is a good idea.

2. Allowing millions of illegal immigrants over the border every year is a good idea

It's like, damn... How much completely obvious shìt are you guys going to be wrong about before you finally sit down and shut up so smart people can run shìt?
