I don’t really see evidence in these posts that he was a “Biden supporter” or that he was “spouting off against conservativism.” The only comment that could be construed as such to me is talking about undocumented immigrants having lower crime rates, but he backed it up with a study.  I especially laughed at the Gab CEO interpreting the poster telling someone they were “stuck in their house” as “supporting Covid lockdowns.” To me that implies he was against them.

3.  This Gab CEO dude seems unhinged, he keeps asking people to pray for him because he’s releasing these posts and claiming he’s being attacked by “the regime.”  And in news that will shock absolutely no one, he seems to be a racist homophobe.

I'll say this again, one of his former classmates said he was wearing a mask because of Covid well past the time everyone else stopped wearing them. Also, he tried to kill Trump. I don't need any more evidence. In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter. What's important, and we will probably never know, is if he was collecting money from offshore accounts and was in communication with anyone or any organization pushing him to carry out the assassination of Trump.

Mr. Crooks already had the AR-15-style semiautomatic rifle he brought to the rally. He purchased it in October from his father, who had acquired it legally in 2013.

He began to receive packages at his house in the Pittsburgh suburbs, including fertilizer pellets and radio devices. He would later use some of this material to build rudimentary bombs, two of which were found in his vehicle after the shooting and another in his home.

 

Mr. Crooks had started searching online for information on famous people, including the F.B.I. director, Christopher A. Wray, Attorney General Merrick B. Garland, President Biden and Mr. Trump. He also looked up “major depressive disorder.”

On July 3, Mr. Trump’s campaign announced the rally in Butler for 10 days later, and Mr. Crooks narrowed his focus to the former president — and to past assassinations. 

On July 6, Mr. Crooks typed in an ominous phrase.

“He did a Google search for ‘How far away was Oswald from Kennedy?’” Mr. Wray told a congressional committee last week.

The search was a reference to Lee Harvey Oswald, the assassin who shot and killed Kennedy from a perch on the sixth floor of the Texas Schoolbook Depository in Dallas in 1963. The Warren Commission determined that Oswald was 265.3 feet from Kennedy when he fired the fatal shot.

Newly surfaced text messages show Thomas Matthew Crooks was on authorities' radar more than 90 minutes prior to opening fire during an assassination attempt targeting former President Donald Trump on July 13.

The text messages exchanged between members of the Beaver County Emergency Service Unit were obtained and shared by the New York Times on Sunday (July 29) and showed a timeline of the events prior to the shooting, which resulted in Trump's ear being grazed, one attendee being killed and two others injured.

The messages also revealed that Crooks, 20, appeared to be aware of the law enforcement presence at the Trump rally while preparing his assassination attempt.

“Someone followed our lead and snuck in and parked by our cars just so you know,” a counter-sniper texted a colleague at around 4:26 p.m. on the day of the shooting.

“I’m just letting you know because you see me go out with my rifle and put it in my car so he knows you guys are up there sitting to the direct right on a picnic table about 50 yards from the exit,” he wrote of the suspicious person later identified as Crooks.

The shooter was below counter-snipers stationed inside the AGR International building warehouse -- where he eventually climbed onto the roof to fire his AR-15 -- at around 5:10 p.m. A counter-sniper captured a photo of Crooks that was shared in the group chat at around 5:38 p.m.

An officer also wrote that they should notify Secret Service of the suspicious activity, specifically feeling alarmed about the range finder that Crooks had at the time.

“Kid learning around the building we are in. AGR I believe it is,” the text states. “I did see him with a range finder looking towards stage. FYI. If you wanna notify SS snipers to look out. I lost sight of him.”

“Call it in to command and have a uniform check it out,” an officer wrote in another message provided to the New York Times by Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley.

The photos were shared with Secret Service through several steps at the command center and another message showed that authorities incorrectly guessed Crooks moved toward the back of the complex of AGR buildings "away from the event" at around 6:00 p.m., at which point he was just minutes away from opening fire.

To me, it's not necessarily that they were keeping tabs on him, but I'd like to know how common it is for them to flag people at events and what the protocol is. 

If it's rare, or they didn't follow typical protocol, then proceed to next level.

If they routinely are track 3 or 4 persons of interest at these events and the standard protocol is spread general awareness, then stop here and reassess conspiracy.
